*Nicola's pov* I'm on bed rest. I can't leave the bed or do anything. We nearly lost her. "Hey" Jonah walks in with all sorts of food. "Peanut butter and Kit Kat" I look at him and he nods "I had to look everywhere for kit Kat" he chuckles placing the food in my hands I dip the kit Kat in the peanut butter and start eating after sending him a tight smile. "What has the doctor said?" Jonah runs a hair through his messy hair I wave him forward and pull him into the bed with me. I move over so he could fit snugly and I put my head on his chest. "Bed rest until the birth and then she has to be kept in for a few nights to make sure she hasn't got any problems" I murmur I run a hand through Jonah's hair trying to tame it but it stayed untamed. "Have you been crying?" I look at his swollen red eyes and he nods slowly "She will make it Jonah" I whisper To be honest I don't even know if she will. I will have a blood transfusion in a few hours but they aren't sure if her or I can survive during birth. "Jonah" I sit up and look at him "Nic?" He grabs my hands "If I die, giving birth to Violet. Look after her for me. Put Nicola in her middle name or something to remind you of me but please. I beg you Jonah Marais. Look after our little girl" I whisper squeezing his hands "Nicola...." Jonah looks at our hands with tears in his eyes. "Jonah please. I may not have a life but I want her to live one" I wipe a tear off my cheek He nods slowly and then I look down at my stomach. "Come on baby, make a move or something. Let us know you are there" I rub my stomach I feel a light push in my side and I let out a smile with a sob. "Hey baby" I whisper I grab Jonahs hand pressing it to my side and Violet moves under her fathers touch. "Hey Violet baby" Jonah croaks smiling through the tears I run my hand through his hair and he presses his lips against mine. "She's gonna survive babe" I smile at him Little does he know the sacrifice I'm making for her.

Small update but I'm busy writing more fanfics. I finally have one for Corbyn and I'm currently making one for Zach. It's a work in progress. This fanfic has had its ups and downs. This book will end in a few chapters but I assure you. It won't end sadly. - T
