Finally Violet trusts me. Even though she trusted me the first day now she is letting me read her books and sit in her room with her. "My mummy left when I was little" she whispers playing with my hand "Has daddy ever said why?" I look at her and she shakes her head softly "She's on a vacation" Violet pushes a hair behind her ear "What if she's back already and you just don't know" I smile and Jonah stands in the doorway "Daddy would tell me, wouldn't you daddy" she looks at him and he smiles "I was going to wait a little longer but, she's back baby" Jonah sits beside me and Violet frowns "Where is she?" Violet tilts her head to the side and I smile "I'm right here" I lift her chin and she looks at me frowning "You aren't my mummy" she giggles "Baby girl that's your mummy, she finally came home" Jonah kisses the top of my head "No! You aren't my mummy!" Violet stands up and I hold my breath "Violet!" Jonah scolds her with a glare and she shakes her head "No I know mummy is dead daddy! I heard you tell Sienna!" Violet screams I stand up and Jonah grabs my wrist "I need some fresh air" I pull my wrist out of his grasp and rush out the door Tears threaten to fall but I hold them in until I get out there back door. As soon as my foot goes out of the house I let out a shaky sob and Zach rushes out behind me "I've been rejected by my own daughter!" I half scream "Nicola calm down, it's so much for a 7 year old!" Zach grabs my arms and I shake my head "She will never call me mum, she will never trust me again Zach" I let the tears form rivers on my cheeks and Zach pulls me into his arms "She will call you mum soon Nicola, just give her some time" Zach rocks me back and forth as I sob hysterically into his chest What if my own daughter hates me?
