*Jonah's pov* I pace around outside of the room and I start hearing a screeching noise. I look at the group and they all nod. I hear Nicola's voice and happiness rushes through my body. She's alive. She didn't die. I smile tightly but then my world starts to crumble. "SHES FLATLINING TAKE THE BABY GET THE DEFIBRILLATOR" a doctor shouts Olivia starts screaming and Gabbie bursts into tears. Christina goes silent and she falls to the ground screaming. The boys have tears streaming down their cheeks and then I look through the window to see Nicola staring at the ceiling lifeless. I sink to the ground with my back shading the wall and I start sobbing. Daniel crawls to me and I lean on his shoulder sobbing loudly. After a few minutes the doctors walk out and look at me gravely. "Mr Marais....we are so sorry for your loss" one of them looks at me and then at his feet "Can I see her?" I stand up "First we need the babies name" the doctor pulls out some paper I look at the group and then Olivia stands up. "Violet Faith Marais" she holds out a hand and I grab onto it tightly "Thank you" the doctor nods and I look at Olivia "Faith was Nicola's middle name" she smiles tightly and then she walks into the room I follow slowly and then a baby starts screaming. "Are you the father?" A nurse walks over with Violet in her arms "Yes" I nod slowly "Here She is" She passes Violet to me and I almost sunk to the ground She looked exactly like Nicola. Her head was covered in hair and it was a mix of brown and Blonde. Just like Nicola's. I smile tightly and then her eyes open up. "She has her eyes" Olivia looks over my shoulder I nod slowly and immediately look into Violet's eyes. I could see Nicola. Everything about Violet screams Nicola. "I promise to look after you" I murmur holding onto her lightly Christina walks in sobbing at the sight of Nicola but then she looks at me with Violet. "I will never love that thing" she whispers "Christina, Nicola made the choice to leave us" Corbyn grabs her shoulders "I can't believe she's gone" she whimpers sinking into his arms I pass Violet to Gabbie and then I walk towards Nicola. "I won't let you down Mrs Marais. I love you so much and i promise to look after Violet" I kiss her and then turn away everyone says their goodbyes and then Violet gets taken to her ward. We lounge around and after a few hours they allow us to take her home. I look at Violet in her cot in my room before shutting off the lights and climbing into bed feeling more alone then ever. I just lost my best friend, my lover, my other half, my soulmate....my wife.

IM SO SORRY. God I already miss Nicola but I'm glad Jonah has accepted Violet. I really don't want to end this book but I don't want to be a pain and keep time skipping forward and leaving little chapters on Violet and Jonah's life together. Also thank you for 1.47k reads! ❤️❤️ -T
