Once again, myself and Barry Allen are alone, together. We are now, walking up the path to see Professor Stein,as Cisco recommended we have a chat about time travel.

The past few days,Barry and I have spent a lot of time together, and this had to happen right when he had a girlfriend. So many obstacles,in my way. Well at least he's happy.

We reached the Steins front door, and Barry rang the doorbell. Clarissa swung open the door, and looked startled.

"Barry. Samatha"

"Mrs Stein,we are sorry to bother you here,But is Professor Stein here right now?" Barry said, shaking as it was cold out.

"Well, after a year apart,I'm not letting him out of my sight. Star Labs did quite a few tests on Martin, didn't they?" Barry and I nodded in reply. "And they said he was fine?"

"Yeah." Barry replied.

"Is something wrong Mrs Stein?" I asked, thinking to myself that maybe Firestorm being split is having some strange side affects on Stein. Him and Ronnie have been merged for a year now.

"He seems a little different,is all." Clarissa said, not keeping eye contact while speaking.

"Different how?" Barry looked worried while speaking.

"He's been asking for pizza. Martin despises pizza." Clarissa said, turning her head towards Martin who was rushing towards us.

"Is that the delivery man? Oh Mr Allen,Ms Smith. I suppose it's too much to hope you moonlight as a pizza boy or girl. I am famished." Martin pleaded,I turned to Barry who said.

"Okay" he grabbed my wrist and we ran and Martin a pizza from the nearest pizza place we could find.

"O bravo! Please, come in." Martin said with joy,as we passed the pizza to Clarissa. "Mr Allen,Ms Smith. Oh,mmm. What can I do for you?"

"I..I needed to talk to you about a paper that you wrote 25 years ago for the Oxford University press." Barry stuttered,as we watched Martin devour the pizza.

"I've written many papers for that publication. Could you be more specific about the subject of the matter?"

"Time travel." When Martin heard those words come out of Barry's mouth,he slowly took the slice of pizza out of him mouth, and escorted us to his study.

There was a sheet over some board, and Martin revealed that it was blackboard covered in,well I'll let Martin tell you.

"These are just a few of the random thoughts I've had on the subject." Martin said, excited about being able to talk about the matter.

"Few?" Barry said sarcastically.

"See,I believe that space-time is a free flowing highway that intersects the physical world." Martin walked us both to the couches in his study, and carried on explaining his theory. "We live in..in the moments between the on and off ramps. Theoretically,to travel through time, one merely needs to find a way onto the highway."

"Okay,So..So you're saying that this is actually possible to..travel into the future?" Barry rumbled.

"Is it really? Being able to see the future?" I added,I'm very hazy on my opinion.

"Undoubtedly." Martin said,with full confidence.

"What about the past?" Now we are on to what we really need.

"Yes. My own personal choice would be the Chicago worlds fair 1893. I...I think Nicola Tesla And I would have some wonderful arguments. What about you two? Would you be interested in taking a trip through history?" Martin continued, ecstatically.

"I think we already have" Barry and I both mumbled.

"Professor,um...15 years ago,my mom was murdered, and Sams parents were murdered and we recently discovered some evidence that...we were both there that night, and I wasn't just there as a kid,but as an adult." Barry told Martin.

"And I was there,as an adult. The day before my parents died." I added my part,of that night.

"That must be a side affect of your incredible speed. In some...future date, you actually move so fast that the resulting kinetic energy buildup smashes a hole in the space-time continuum!" Martin smacked his head,as if he finally knew how to travel through time. I like his optimism, and I would join in,if it wasn't about that time.
"You seem disappointed by the prospect." Martin said to the two of us,since we both were looking down,Barry looking tearful.

"I mean,if I do somehow make it back there to that night,then...it mean I didn't save her. My destiny is to fail" Barry spoke, solemnly.

"And I couldn't help you save her"

Some time later

Smash. I run with Barry to the kitchen,to see Professor Stein, grabbing onto the kitchen counter, and Clarissa as if he can't keep himself up.

"What wrong?" Clarissa asked,sounding scared.

"I don't know,I..I feel terrified. My..my heart is racing. I think..I think Ronald is in trouble." Dr Stein said, breathing heavily.

"How could you know that?" Barry asked, twitching his head.

"How's that possible?" I also questioned. Clearly Ronnie and Stein aren't okay.

"Jitters. He needs help. Go!"

And we ran, grabbing our suits, and getting to Jitters. We knocked out all of,which looked like soldiers, and then the guy threw some block in the air. That released nails, that pierced right through our suits.

We both yelled in agony, from the burning sensation the nails brought to our bodies.

"Stings, doesn't it? Had that one developed especially for you two. Micro fragments attracted to kinetic energy. Firestorm was tonight main objective, but getting you two, that's just gravy." He teased, while we both yelled in pain. Then we heard screeching of tires, and Ronnie punched the angry general in the face.

"Get in!" Caitlin yelled,as she swung open the van doors. Ronnie grabbed Barry and I by our arms, and helped us get in the van.

Oh this stings so,so much. This is gonna be one painful, painful night.
