Chapter 4

NARRATOR:

"C'mon bro, you can tell me." Daniel whined.

"Fine. But not now." Jonah said. "Ill tell you in the bathroom, you ask; I'll ask." Jonah walked up to the teacher, Mr. Chris, and left the class. A minute later, Daniel did the same.

"So? Who do you like?" Daniel said once he was in the bathroom.

"Study Hall was so boring." you say to Jack and Corbyn as you three start walking to Language Arts. You turned to watch Daniel walk out of the bathroom and he pulled you aside while Corbyn and Jack were talking to each other.

"So did he tell you?" you asked.

"Yeah, he likes-" Daniel was cut off by Mark and Colin.

"My dude! 'Sup Daniel! Did you get a new girl yet?" Colin yelled from across the hall as he walked over toward you.

"No, I'm kinda not into any 'Hit and Runs' anymore." Daniel said in a shy tone.

"Augh, man, you are missin' out!" Mark spat.

"So whats old y/n doing with 'ya?" Colin laughed.

"I was just talking to him about who Jonah liked." you snarled.

"Speaking of him! Yo, Jonah! Hey dog, whats up?" Mark said as he bro-hugged Jonah after he walked out of the bathroom smiling. 30 seconds later a girl walked out behind him.

"Hey, why was Claire in the boys bathroom?" Daniel asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Jonah laughed. Claire was a pretty girl that often hung out with Tessa and Maria, but unlike them, she was nice.

They all walked away and Daniel looked to you and said, "Sorry, I'll see you tomorrow, I guess."

"Wait um-" you tried to say something to him but he had walked away.

"Hey, y/n, how come you have been talking to Daniel a lot lately?" Jack had asked as he walked up to you with Corbyn along side him.

"Oh, I just asked him if he could ask Jonah if he liked anyone." you smiled.

"Why did Daniel have to do it for you?" Jack asked.

"Because Jonah doesnt like me." you rolled your eyes.

"Nope, he's told me different." Corbyn said.

"What?" you said confused.

"Language Arts class for Ms. Simmons: please go early." Mr. Chris announced to the students in the hall. You three did so, and went into the Language Arts classroom. You all sat at a table of 4 and Jonah sat next to you in the extra seat.

"Why are you here?" Jack asked.

"Because I need to talk to y/n, dont worry." Jonah rolled his eyes.

"So y/n, did you have Daniel ask who I like?" Jonah asked.

"What makes you think that?" you said nervously.

"He told me. I mean come on! Did you really think Daniel would keep a secret?" Jonah laughed.

"Jonah, shut it." Ms. simmons said sternly.

"Finally a class without any of the annoying boys." you said to Corbyn and Jack as you three walked to art.

After class you all gathered your bookbags and waited outside for the cars.

"Great, I get to go to Jonah's house to do the math homework with him and listen to him complain about which girl he likes to bang the most." you laughed with Corbyn and Jack doing the same.

"Lets go." Jonah said as he grabbed your wrist and pulled you to his car. You waved goodbye to Jack and Corbyn and got into the passenger seat of his car.

"I drive to school everyday- making no need to carpool." he said as he pooled out from the lot and onto the main road.

"Hello y/n! I hope you two had a great day today on your first day back!" Mrs. Marais said to you and Jonah as you both walked into the door. You smiled and greeted her. His sisters, Esther and Svea, were so nice to you. You and Jonah both walked upstairs into Jonah's room.

"Ready to have some fun?" Jonah said quietly.
