Once my mom told me to cook something while she was on WeChat.
She said, "Add a little bit of salt."
I said, "How much?"
She said, "A little bit."
I said, "How much?"
She said, "I already told you, a little bit."
Me: "How much is a little bit."
Her: "Just...a little bit..."
Basically asian (or at least Chinese) cooking is a lot of stir-fry with no instructions. It's, "add a pinch of that and a pinch of this." Like improvisation. And you can never waste food. NEVER.
That being said, my mom decided to spontaneously go to Chick-Fil-A the other day, and we were so surprised. Spontaneously. You have no idea how rare that is.
Sorry for the delay in chapters...I'm a procrastinator...heh
