10: Heres My Revenge

CHAPTER 10

Niall's P.O.V

I marched my way up to the gym, taking my guess' that he'll be there first, as I caught sight of him walking down the corridoor.

"Hey Coach guess what?" I said, not baring to hold back the excitment I was feeling right now for the news to come out.

"You've decided to join our football team?" He said in hopes that his guess was right.

He was absolutely right.

"Heck Yeah!" I proudly confirmed.

"Ata-boy! You can start today at lunch" He praised before notifying me as I nodded in agreement.

"Sure, sounds good" I replied back.

"You better be on time though" He added with a lot more of a humorless tone as I nodded again.

"Don't worry coach, you can bet i'll be there"

2 hours later...

I made my way out of the classroom, and heading to the school toilets, when I pushed the door open slightly and caught a glimpse of David and Oliver yet again, with their backs facing me.

"So... what was it then? What was your main point in doing this to her?" Oliver first braught up the topic back as I lightly pressed my ears against the door, trying my hardest to hear the both of them.

"Look, you can't tell anyone but... i'm only doing it to piss Niall off" David finally answered back as my mouth dropped at the mention of my name and anger was already bubbling up inside of me.

Of course. I knew it all along.

I knew he had some kind of plan up his sleeve in the very first place.

I knew it had something to do with me...

"What? Why? What do you mean piss Niall off?" Oliver confusingly blurted out.

"well, remember in 6th grade, back when I wasn't so popular in school?" David reminded.

"Duh, who could forget?" Oliver teased as he chuckled.

"Oh shut up and just listen" David harshly said back, clearly getting annoyed already.

"Okay, sorry boss" Oliver joked before I heard silence, which I presume David was probably giving Oliver a look at that moment to make him shut up.

"Whatever, anyway... well I liked this girl way back then. A girl called Madison and she just so happened to have fallen for Niall back then when I liked her. She didn't know it and never suspected ..." he suddenly paused as I heard a sigh of frustration afterwards.

"that I loved her, because she had her eyes only for Niall." David finally continued before pausing once again with another sigh, as I waiting patiently for his to say the rest.

"And that dickface was already in love with someone else... Alyssa. So he was the one who had to turn Madison down. He was the one who broke her heart without even knowing it..." David bitterly said, as my thoughts suddenly trailed back to the past.

Madison? I didn't even know he had a crush on her?

And FYI, I didn't break her heart. I didn't even go out with her! All I did was let her down gently by telling her that I'm not the right one for her and that there could be someone else waiting out there for her... someone much better than me.

I didn't exactly go up to her and say straight to her face that I didn't love her because I was already in love with someone else now did I? No.

I would never hurt a girl by doing that because I know how sensitive girls can be.
