Chapter 18) -Some language-

~~~~Iridessa’s POV~~~~

TIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMEEEEEEE SKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKIPZ

I sighed as the bell rang for the next class. Eris and I quickly grabbed our stuff and exited the classroom. We began to talk about the project our social studies.

“Why don’t we do a slideshow?” Eris asked. “I have some really cool ideas.”

“An iMovie would be cool.” I reply.

“Yeah.”  We see someone getting made fun of by Madison, the popular sl*t. Eris clenched her fists. So did I.

“Leave her alone.” I said darkly, giving Madison a death glare. The girl sent a grateful look towards me.

“Stay out of this, b****” She said to me.

“I’m sorry.” Eris laughed darkly. “What did you call my friend?”

“A b-” Madison was cut off by Eris.

“Shut it. I can’t stand bullying.” Eris glared. Then she looked at the girl that Madison was calling names. She smiled slightly. “You can leave.”

“Thank you.” The girl whispered, she ran.

“Aww, you made the squirt runaway.” Madison crossed her arms. Her four friends and boyfriend grouped up behind her. “Lyric, make sure no one interrupts. Corey,” Madison gave him a flirty smile, “Be a good boy and help me with these nerds.”

“Did you ever think that nerds rule the world?” I asked her.

“Didn’t you know that ‘nerds’ invented everything you use?” Eris asked.

“Pft, yeah right.” Madison said. “Corey? Beat ‘em up. Not to much, though. Don’t want to get caught.”

Corey walked towards us. He cracked his knuckles and said “Don’t mess with my girlfriend.”

Next thing I know, he punch Eris in the stomach. She fell to the ground out of breath. I stared at her in shock, “Eris!”

Corey kicked me in the stomach next. It hurt and I had the air knocked out of me but, I was still standing. “Jag.” I gasped.

“Say that again.” He demanded.

“She called you a jag,”  Eris said, standing up. “I know you can hit harder than that. Why you holding back, punk? Afraid of some teachers?” She laughed.

Great, she on the defencive*. Just. Great. “Calm down Eris.”

She gestured to Corey, “No, this wimp is holding back because he’s afraid.”

“I’m not afraid.” He growled.

“Oh, then is it because we’re girls?” Eris asked. “How sexist is that?!” (A/N←HAHAHHAHA I would so say that. >:] )

“What?” He was confused.

“Baby, just ignore them.” Madison said sweetly.

Corey kicked Eris, she fell again. He punched me really hard on my arm.

“LEAVE THEM ALONE!” A very familiar voice yelled.

~~~~Seto’s POV~~~~

I walked into Iridessa and Eris’s school...Or what I think is their school. It’s the only one around here. The lady in the office asked why I was there.

I told her I needed to tell some of my friends very important news. Like magic, she believed me. I hate using my powers to sway people’s thoughts but, this is important. I asked her where Iridessa and Eris are, and she told me what class they had next.

As I walked through the hallways of the highschool, something felt off. It may have to do with the fact, I’m the only one in the hall. As I was walking down the hallway, I heard Eris’s voice echoing. I ran as fast as I could to their part of the school. I did not like what I saw. I saw this one guy kicking Eris and then went over to Iridessa and punched her in the arm.

“LEAVE THEM ALONE!” I yelled.

“Looks like someone wanted to crash the party.” The girl said. She was wearing slightly revealing clothes.

“Who are you and who is he?” I said.

“You don’t know who I am? Surely you’ve heard of me?” She said with disbelief.

I rolled my eyes. “I don’t go to this school. Just tell me who you are.”

“I’m Madison, and this guy taking care of these nerds is Corey. My boyfriend.”

“Listen Madison, leave them alone and no one gets hurt.” I say calmly.

“Like you could hurt someone.” She huffed.

“Listen, you don’t know what you're getting into. Leave them alone. NOW!” I yelled angrily.  

She crossed her arms. “No way. I’m not afraid of you. You can’t do anything. You’re a wimp.”

“You sure about that?”

“Positive.” Madison said a little too confidently.

“I warned you.” I said. I went up to her and punched her right in the stomach. She fell over and I guess her boyfriend got all defencive.

“You do not hurt my girlfriend and get away with it.” Corey said.

“I just did.” I said glaring. I saw his fist coming straight at me. I used my magic and made myself a bit stronger. Then, I grabbed his hand, just in time, and flipped him over. He laid on the ground moaning.   

“Serves you right to mess with us nerds.” I say menacingly.

“Corey, let’s get out of here.” Madison says, trying to stand, wincing. I hit her pretty hard. I saw her boyfriend come and pick her up and walked her to, I assume, the nurse.  

“Oh my gosh! Seto thank you!” Iridessa says running towards me. She hugs me tightly. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I hugged back.

“You’re welcome. It wasn’t too big of a deal anyway.” I chuckled. I saw Iridessa smiling up at me, so I gave her a smile back, blushing slightly.

“That was awesome Seto! how’d you learn to do that?” Eris asked, get up from the ground. I let go of Iridessa.

“I used my magic. Magic can enhance your abilities.” I replied.

“Sweet!” Eris yelled.

“Thanks again Seto.” Iridessa says smiling.

“No problem, now,” I say getting serious, “ for the real reason I’m here.”

* When I get mad or offended, I kinda yell insults and rude coments back towards the person. I pretty sure I'm not the only one who does that.
