I was going to type more but I felt evil. Anyways, sorry for the wait. Here's chapter 23 of By Chance. Now...to start typing the next chap...

~~~~Eris's POV~~~~

After I ate. Kyle, Iridessa and I went into the living room. My brother was playing Pokèmon on his 3D DS. Kyle sat down next to me. I felt my face heat up a bit.

"Sorry for still being asleep when you guys came over. I was up for a long time last night, one minute it 9 the next, it's 3." I say to both of them while I play with the sleeves on my hoodie. I don't mention the fact that I had a lot of things on my mind, making it hard to sleep.

" I have no problem with it." Kyle smiles towards me. I hope I don't blush but I felt my face heat up. Oh god.

"You don't need to say sorry." Iridessa says, her face is a bit pink. Was she blushing earlier? I wonder if it has to do with who she was texting..."You always stay up late."

"Yeah. I guess I do. " I laugh.

Because of Kyle, Iridessa and I talking, my brother left. As he left I told him to take care of his pets and to go hangout with his friends. Not to play his Pokèman game.

"What do you guys want to do today?" I asked Iridessa and Kyle.

"What can we do?" Kyle asks back.

"Well," I switch to sitting upside down on the couch. I say the next thing in one breath. "We could go see a movie, record, play video games, sit here and talk, have movie marathon, play card games, play board games. Play apples to apples."

I sit back normally. "That's it! "

"What's it?" Kyle askes, his head tilted to the right. Makeing him look cute.

"Play Apples to Apples. " I say seriously. "The best card game ever. But we need more players..."

"I could text Ty, Seto or Adam." Kyle said.

"Or I can ask Jenna or Emi. " Iridessa continued.

"Hmm." I held my head in my hands. "I say...ALL OF THEM!" I say the last part in a high pitch, Italian accented voice and held my arms into the air. (A/N if any of you are offended. Sorry, but I am Italian...yeah.)

Kyle cracks a smile towards me and Iridessa laughs. I smile sucsefully and stand up. "Anyways, I'm going to go grab the game. Can you ask Adam, Ty, Seto, Emi and Jenna to come over?"

Kyle and Iridessa both nod, "Sure."

"Great!"

I run up to my room and go into my closest, looking for the box. I finally find it after searching for a few minutes. After I come back down, Kyle tells me that Adam and Ty will be here soon and Seto said he'll be here in about 30 mins. Before Iridessa says anything, I hear a knock on the door.

I yell unnessisarily, "I'll get it!" And run towards the door. When I open it. Emi and Jenna are standing outside.

"Hello friends." I say in a game show voice. "Welcome, today the game is...APPLES TO APPLES!"

They both start to crack up. "Really?" Emi manages to say between laughs.

I look at them confused. "It wasn't that funny. "

They laughed harder. "What's so funny?" I ask, getting frustrated.

They stop laughing when they notice that I'm getting angery. I take a deep breath, and smile. "Let's play the game." Emi says.
