*{SCULLY'S POV}*

👽—-👽

I felt terrible for putting so much weight on Fox's shoulders... he was going through so much already. I mean, he was just in the hospital from being shot, and we have absolutely no idea who did that to him.

I couldn't tell anyone else what was happening to me, though, because I knew for certain that they would never believe me.

I was still in Fox's arms at the current moment, sobbing, when suddenly the door flew open and Skinner came in the room.

"Mulder, I need to talk with Scully. Alone, please," Skinner said, maintaining the same expression he had this whole day.

"I think I'd feel safer with Fox here, sir," I replied, and stopped myself from crying anymore.

"If you are going to talk with Dana about what's happening to her, I insist, talk with me. She's going through enough already, and doesn't need to worry about this," Fox said, his tone of voice becoming angrier.

"No, Fox, I need to know what's happening to me," I replied.

Before Fox could reject my statement or actually agree with me, which was unlikely, I felt my whole body shake. But then, the realization hit me. My heart wasn't beating. I wasn't breathing ; and I couldn't say a thing.

I felt my vision flicker back into the dream world I had experienced only the night before, but instead of going there like I had expected my world turned to black.

*{MULDERS POV}*

Dana had stopped talking, and her skin turned pale. A few seconds later, she fell backwards onto her bed, her eyes closed shut.

From what she had told me about the heart, I came to the conclusion that she had just experienced a fatal case of cardiac arrest.

Panic settled in on Skinner and I, and before Skinner could do anything to help Dana, I did.

"We need a nurse here, immediately!! Patient went into cardiac arrest!", I screamed, alerting the whole hospital of Dana's condition.

More than a few doctors came into the room with an Defibrillator, and rested the two book shaped devices onto opposite sides of her chest.

"Clear!", One disheveled looking man with black, messy hair said.

Then a minute passed, and another doctor said "Clear!", and Dana opened her crystal blue eyes.

She started coughing continuously, and had tears in her eyes.

"Mulder, where am I? What just happened?" Dana asked, her coughing subsiding.

"You are in the hospital, Dana. But it's okay, you're better now," I smiled, trying to be more positive when in reality I was scared for her.

"Be honest with me, Mulder. I know I'm not okay," Dana frowned, staring in at me with an annoyed glare.

"Okay, okay. You had cardiac arrest. At least, I think you did. That just happened, I don't know what'll happen next. I'm just hoping for your sake that you won't feel anymore pain," I sighed and watched Dana's expression drop.

"Are you okay, Dana?" I asked, my voice cracking.

"I'm fine, Mulder, it's just that I... I... don't remember a thing. I'm scared..." She replied.

"It's okay, Dana honey, it's over," I whispered, reaching in to hug her. She hugged me back, her chin resting on my left shoulder.

"I know, Mulder, thank you for being there for me. I love you so much," Dana whispered into my ear, not letting go.

"I love you, to, Dana. I love you more than anything."

Hello, everyone! I know it might seem like the book is over. And it almost is, all I need to write is an epilogue. 😍. I'm just so happy with this fan fiction, it had so much MSR and romance but it was also great practice for my original story, which I am still working on. I am for sure going to release a Gillovny fan fiction sometime soon, I just need to come up with a plot, cover, description, etc. but I am also wondering! Would you like me to release a book of MSR/Sculder and maybe some Gillovny one shots? I think it sounds like a great idea because I have so many stories that wouldn't fit into a whole story☺️❤️. Thank you for reading my book, and have a nice day/night! ☺️💕.
