This morning I saw a strange new person carrying boxes into an apartment that had been empty for a while. Logic dictates that they were probably moving in. Teddy had been next to me at the time. He remarked that the new neighbors overall appearance seemed strangely off. Perfect hair hastily ruffled to look loss than perfect. Cloths completely wrinkle free and brand new shoes. And strangest enough no matter how much we attempted a quick glance neither of us could see his or her face. It was hard to tell their gender. Their height and build suggested male but the cloths and hair seemed otherwise. I did hear their voice once, when they dropped a box onto their foot. They muttered a quick curse word before walking inside to unpack. It was no help at all really. Raspy and hushed, yet high pitched and frantic. Well, I'm sure we'll find out more about them later. The reason Teddy had even came over in the first place was to ask for help making invitations for everyone in the building. Teddy has been known to throw house parties for everyone in the building every month. They can often become loud and at least a few guests end up intoxicated. Definitely not something I enjoy, but being the good friend I am I always show up for moral support. When writing the invitations, I simply label the newcomer's invitation as "The New One."
