I stretched out and slid out of bed, Damn It was like half 8 I had to be at school in like 10 minutes. I quickly pulled on anything that came to hand and flew down the stairs missing a step as I slipped and got carpet burn down my arms. I grabbed a carton of juice and a cereal bar and legged it out the door. I ran up the road as I ran into something pointy and fell to the floor.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry are you hurt I am just too clumsy" a voice said as I put my hand to my head and saw blood on it. "No it's fine really I was totally not looking where I was going" I answered. "Here take my hand I'll help you up" they said as I took it and went a little dizzy, "thanks oh Tommy it's you" I said. "Hey you crazy person I think you ran into my book what's the rush?" he questioned.
"I'm super late for school" I told him running my sleeve over the cut on my head. "Wait do you go to Eastlake high?" he asked, "yes I do why?" I said. "That's where I go my dad is taking me do you want a ride?" he asked, "won't your dad mind?" I said. He shook his head, "come on let's get your head clean" he replied leading me into his house. He gently ran a wet cloth over my head as I looked at him, he had the most awesome eyes deep brown like hot melted chocolate. His lashes were so long, they curled up as he blinked.
His skin was smooth and light like a porcelain doll, hes definately gay because hes so good looking I dont know many guys who take care of themselves but he obviousy does. "All done" he said smiling as I realised I was staring at him like a right weirdo. "Thanks" I said looking down at my shoes, "Tommy come on time to go" a man called as he did a double take when he saw me. "Whos this lovely lady?" he asked Tommy, "this is angel from next door she ran into the corner of my book and hurt her head. Can we give her a ride?" he asked.
"Yeah sure lets go" his dad said as we followed him out, it only took him a couple of minutes to get to school. It turns out me and Tommy have classes together, Becca isnt at school apparently shes sick so looks like im on my own all day. Lunch time came quicker than I expected as I headed to the canteen and got some lunch. I sat down on a table as one of the jocks came over, "on your own nerd" he questioned. "What does it have to do with you?!" I asked, "ooh somones grumpy today" he said. "No im just mindig my own buisiness I dont wanna look at you while im eating thanks" I said.
He laughed and walked away as I rolled my eyes, "do you mind if I sit with you?" a voice asked as I looked up. "Oh hey Tommy yeah sure you can!" I said as he sat down opposite , we spent the whole lunch break chatting and by the end of it we knew nearly everything about each other. Turns out he isnt gay after all, he just likes to look good he laughed when I said I thought he was gay.
Later that day I walked to my locker when someone grabbed my wrist, it was my ex joey. "Hey Angel" he said pinning me against the locker, "what do you want Joey?" I asked pushing him back. "I want you angel, You know letting you go was a big mistake I love you angel" he said, "you certainly didnt love me when you slept with Lolita because I wouldnt sleep with you. Whats happened did she get bored with you?" I said.
"Lolita cheated on me" he said, "well now you know how it felt when you broke my heart and shagged her" I answered. "I know and im sorry Angel please I need you" he said, "sorry but I dont need or want you we are done Joey" I said shoving past him and walking up the hall. "We'll see Angel and If I cant have you than no other guy can!" he yelled after me as I ignored him and headed home.
It was no lie what I said to him, he did break my heart. He cheated on me with some girl who he knew I hated, I kind of couldnt deal with it in the slightest. I ended up resulting to self harm and stuff, I ended up in hospital. That was a dark part of my life, one I hope I never have to visit again. Thats one think I wont ever tell anyone, not even Becca knows and she is my best friend.
"Mom im home!" I called dumping my bag on the floor, it was pretty quiet as I walked into the kitchen and found a note. "Hey Angel just doing the food shop shouldnt be long love you mum" I put the note down and switched on my music and sang along as I made a snack. I head clapping as I spun round and saw my mom and Tommy standing in the doorway, I flushed red with embarassment. "Look who I found outside" my mom said as Tommy waved, "hi" he said.
"Hi" I answered quietly, "I came to show you this" he said holding up an envelope. "yeah sure come on lets go into the garden" I said as he nodded and followed me. "So why did you bring it here?" I asked sitting on the lawn as he sat next to me, "because I opened it and it has your name in" he said handing it to me. I opened the envelope nd read it:

It was written with cut out bits from magzines like a ransom note, "no" I said dropping it. "Do you know who its from?"he asked, "I have an idea I think its Joey" I said..
