Your fear

Jace: Failure

It had been engrained into your head since you were little; you have to succeed.  Jace tries to reassure you it'll be ok.

Clary: Dogs

Lets just say after a bad experience you don't go near dogs. Clary found out for the first time when you were walking past a Labrador. Clary stopped to pet it and you froze in fear. Clary had to drag you away.

Alec: Dark

It was the first time you were going to stay over in his room. He went to turn the lights off and you just had to stop him. Alec understand and helps you with his fears.

Magnus: Flying

You never had to fly since you've known Magnus. However you were invited to Greece for a family wedding and your parents said they'd book your flight. You were terrified so Magnus agreed to go with you and just create a portal.

Isabelle: Public Speaking

You were bad with people in general. Izzy found it adorable when you'd begin to stutter but she would always step in to save you. However you were still in school when you met Izzy so would have to give presentations. Izzy would put on an invisibility room and stand in the room, supporting you.

Simon: Heights

It was a fear you could normally hide. Until you went to a theme park. You could handle the normal, smallish rides without any major reactions. The issue was at one point he wanted to go on a huuuge ride and you had to tell him. You got candyfloss while he went on it. He never made fun of your fear, sometimes teasing ever so slightly.

Maia: Spiders

Its quiet common but when your high pitched scream came from the bathroom Maia ran to you. She thought their was a murderer. Once she saw the spider her face went emotionless. She removed the spider and teased you for the fear whenever the scream came.

Jordan: Driving

Something about it terrified you. You never had driving lessons, you flat out refused. It didn't majorly affect you life since you could portal everywhere. Jordan did find it slightly weird at first but didn't say anything.

Camille: Germs

Camille couldn't help but notice how clean you kept things. Add that with the fact you hated shaking hands it was pretty obvious. She made a comments saying 'what are you  scared of germs or something?'. You admitted it and once you did she helped you with your fears.

Raphael: Thunder

You had been staying over at the dummort when thunder was heard. You basically ran for cover resulting in him following you. You explained your fear and he helped you whenever their was a storm.

Sebastian: Death

Who could blame you. With everything going on death was looming over everyone's head. Especially yours. At first if you brought up your fear he would brush it off. Saying you needn't worry. Eventually he realised how scared you were. He started fighting the shadowhunters less and less. It eased you a little but not much. It was when he was in edom he decided he had to stop. The demon part of him was burned out by heavenly fire. It was only then he fully understood your fear. He stopped the war and signed a treaty. From that day on he made sure you were safe and helped with your fear.

Tessa: Being alone

Being alone was a hard thing. In the past you would jump from relationship to relationship so you weren't alone. You and Tessa had talked about past partners briefly. Eventually you told her your fear and she promised that you'd never be alone again.

Jem: Blood

Once in your younger days one of your close friends had been killed by a vampire for simply knowing you. You were the one to find the body. Ever since you've feared blood. One time you were waiting for Jem at the institute. He and Will came back from their mission bloody. Your face paled when you saw it. They thought you were scared for Jem until you fainted. Once awake you had to tell them your fear. Jem helped you overcome it though blood still freaks you out.

Will: Change

Change was hard for you. What didn't help was the fact you were thrown into the shadow world and were going to ascend. Will knew about your fear, you told him in the beginning. He was always by your side assuring you during the process.
