*Spencers POV*

I could tell that Kinnley was extremely nervous and I can't blame her.

She didn't deserve that. She explained to me everything he has done to her and I can't believe someone can treat someone else like that.

I don't know how she puts up with it all. She's defiantly the strongest person I know.

I'm glad I've meet her. She's taught me to value life no matter how hard it is.

Anyways we were heading to her place, and it was silent. Not an awkward silence but it was noticeable that she was upset.

"Kin, is there something wrong? You can tell me anything." I broke the silence.

"Uh, yeah. I'm just nervous." She stuttered.

"Well, don't be. You have me right beside you!" I said trying to make her feel better.

"I know! But i just don't want him to be home! I mean he shouldn't be, he's probably at work or at some bar. but if he is home I don't want him to hurt you. I don't him to even lay his eyes on you." She said while pulling me into a side hug.

"Awe, i promise I won't let him hurt you or me." I said informing her.

Not even 10 minutes later we were standing outside of the house.

We walked in and it was beautiful, it was a medium sized home but it seemed so cozy.

I shut the door behind me as quietly as I could.

She told me to wait at the door and if he's home she would signal me.

She tip toed up the stairs, then checked the basement and then the living room, the kitchen and then the bathroom.

She came back to me and told me wasn't he home and it was safe to come in. She told me to take the lead going up to her bedroom. And I did what she told me to do.

I walked into her room and plopped myself on her queen sized bed. I took a look around and I noticed there was a lot of pictures I'm assuming with her mom, her brothers, her sisters, her dad and her best friends. I also noticed a lot of band posters posted on her purple and grey walls. Blink 182, A Day To Remember, Sleeping With Sirens, Staind, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down and many many more were some of the posters hanging on her walls. I love all these bands as well.

"I love your posters! There all my favourite bands!" I said.

"Really! Mine to! None of my other friends like these bands. But I friggen love them." She said while she was packing her bag.

After she was done packing everything she went down stairs and entered the kitchen and took out a note pad and pen and began writing a note.

The note said:

Dear Steve,

I'm gone to a friends for a bit. You have my number if you need anything. Don't come looking for me. I'll be home later on. I'll be fine don't worry about me.

After she wrote the note she double checked to see if she had everything, which she did and then we headed out!

"Well we managed to do that in 17 minutes." I said.

"Hahah yeah, I guess I'm pretty quick. But hey can we go to the mall before we go back to the hotel we still have a bunch of time to kill and I feel bad for lying to Matt and I don't it want it to be a complete lie. We don't even have to buy anything. Can we please just go?" She said and I completely understood what she meant.

"Uh, yeah sure!" I answered and the we headed off to to the mall!
