~Matts POV~
*RECAP*
In the distance I could hear a scream.
Multiple screams. A loud pitch, scream. It was defiantly a girl scream. And it sounded alert, it was clear she was in danger.
I tried to ignore it.
But it was getting closer.
I looked back and saw her.
She was in the arms of someone who had written 'trouble' written all over him.
He was yelling at her, calling her rude names, telling her he wasn't afraid to kill her. He was beating her. He wouldn't let her budge, and if she did she got hit, harder and harder each time.
I ran towards the two of them.
*end of RECAP*
"Hey, hey, hey! Put her down now!" I yelled at the man who was torturing her!
"Who the hell are you? And what if I don't? What the f*** you gonna do about it?" He yelled sternly at me.
Don't show him fear.
"I'll call the cops" I yelled back.
He started to run with her in his arms, he didn't run very far. He began smashing her head off the side of a building, knocking her out cold. Still carrying her in his arms he headed back down an ally. I started to run after them.
Before turning down the alley I looked back at the group of my friends. They were staring at me, in shock. I just waved them off. I texted Carter.
Me: it's okay, go on site seeing without me, I'll catch up with you later! I wanna make sure she's okay.
Carter: bro, are you sure? We can help you, and we can go site seeing another day. We have four months here!
Me: no it's okay. I'm fine. I'll text you later. See yah.
Carter: okay! Be carful bro! Text me later. Then we can meet up somewhere. Just me and you. I can tell something was upset earlier, I just didn't wanna make a big deal out of it.
Me: okay, thanks. And yeah something's just been on my mind lately. And yeah Ill try to be! But I gotta go I can't get to far behind them.
Carter: okay bye! Good luck! See yah!
I looked back at the group and have them one more smile and wave good bye.
I noticed that Shannon wasn't standing with the rest of them, but they had already headed back to the van without her. Weird.
Oh well, I guess.
Now time to catch up!
I ran down the alley he had taken her down! I looked every where but se was no where in sight!
I decided to continue you down the alley and look at the end.
But once I got there, they weren't anywhere!
I decided to wait around for about 10 minutes.
Then I began to her a whimper, coming from a dumpster....
