//Chapter 1!

*Matts POV*

Today was a typical day. My friends and I decided to go shopping and go sure seeing.

Carter, Cam, Aaron, Hayes, Nash, Aliyah (Cams girlfriend), Amelia (Hayes girlfriend), Shannon (my girlfriend) and myself!

We were staying at a hotel in California, we were here because of Magcon!

This is our 3rd day here and we still have four months here before we move destinations!

We decided to go shopping first.

We all piled into Cams van.

Cam in drivers seat, Aliyah in the passengers seat, Aaron and Hayes in the middle, Nash, Amelia, me and Shannon on my lap.

The mall was like 10 minutes away, and with Cams driving a it about 5 minutes away.

We got there as we all piled out. We spilt up 4 and 4 since there was 8 of us.

Cam, Aliyah, Hayes and Amelia.

Nash, Aaron, Shannon and me.

Don't ask me why Shannon didn't go with the other girls beats me. Busy she refused to and said "she went shopping last weekend and didn't need anything in particular and she wanted to shop with me." I didn't argue with her and just let her do her own thing.

Aliyah and Amelia are sisters.

Aliyah's Cams age; 18.

Amelia's Hayes age; 14.

Shannon's a year younger than me; 15.

Shannon was my first, real, love.

We've been dating for 1 year and 5 1/2 months.

But lately out bond hasn't been as strong as it's been before. I've hurt he in the past and I'm not willing to do it again. Even though she cheated in me with Nash..

Everything turned out fine and we are closer than ever. (Nash & I)

But Shannon and I feel more distance then ever.

We agreed that we would meet up in 2 hours at the food court.

We left the others and started at the store "vans" and then all the other stores like that.

I didn't but much, just a black and white pair of vans and a grey beanie from there to.

The two hours flew by. And we headed back to the good court.

We meet up with the other group. Everyone ordered something but is didn't, I wasn't hungry. I wasn't in the mood to eat.

I just have a bad feeling about something and it's making me really tense. I can sense someone is in danger.

Someone important.

Once everyone finished eating we headed out of the mall. Deciding to go site seeing.

Once we left the store we started heading back to the van.

In the distance I could hear a scream.

Multiple screams. A loud pitch, scream. It was defiantly a girl scream. And it sounded alert, it was clear she was in danger.

I tried to ignore it.

But it was getting closer.

I looked back and saw her.

She was in the arms of someone who had written 'trouble' written all over him.

He was yelling at her, calling her rude names, telling her he wasn't afraid to kill her. He was beating her. He wouldn't let her budge, and if she did she got hit, harder and harder each time.

I ran towards the two of them.
