Katie was over my house after school since it was Friday. She was sleeping over, cause she wanted to get out of her house for the night. She is actually my best friend now since we are just alike. "You know the girl's soccer team needs your help you know. Maybe you can be team captain cause our team captain now sucks. She is horrible leading the team. She can't even do it." She said laying on my bed on her phone. "Well the principal wanted me to join the school's sport teams or whatever cause y'all are slacking since the school hasn't won a championship in awhile or ever was even close into getting in one. He is making me team captain." She sat up from the bed in shock. "He wants you to play for the school and be the team captain! Atleast I don't have to drag you to try outs now." I rolled my eyes cause of her excitement of what I told her. "Yeah but I'm not ready for that attention like before." "Oh relax, you seem tough enough to deal with it. Plus you have me to back you up." She smiled at me. "Thanks." I smiled back.
At my old school, I didn't really have many friends. Well in fact I didn't actually have friends that backed me up. I fought on my own, no one seemed to care about me. They were like my class mates truthfully. It just what it seemed like at my old school. I had no friends come over my house or anything. I just dealt with playing sports and winning. That's when people cared cause I won a game. Shouting my name cause I won a championship game, that I was the best athlete ever, nothing else.
"You want to go for a drive and get some food. I'm hungry and I want to go out for some food. Also so your ass can get off your phone, you lazy ass." I threw a pillow at her from across the room where I was sitting at my desk. "Hey, my ass isn't lazy. My ass is fine as hell." She laughed and I rolled my eyes. "Whatever helps you sleep at night." I shrugged my shoulders. We both get up and I grab my wallet. We walked down the stairs. "Mom I am going out to eat with Katie. I am going to take my car by the way. Better be no scratches on her, I will find out." "Okay be safe and text me. Don't be out too late. I told you no promises last time." I grabbed my keys smiling walking to my car in the garage. I opened the garage from the passcode lock on the outside. The garage opens up, "This is your car?!" I rub the back of my neck. "Now you understand I wanted to blend in at school. I drive my mom's car cause my car is too extra and people think I am that rich kid that is also a star athlete." "You car ain't extra! It's nice as hell. Who cares about what people say about you? You are a awesome person and a friend. I am glad I met you. Money doesn't mean anything to you. I can tell you aren't a spoiled brat. You are chill."
We get in my red Subaru BRZ. "Where do you want to eat?" I said turning on the car. "Don't judge me, but how about McDonald's?" I laughed. "Hey I said don't judge me? That means don't laugh at me." Katie said. "I like McDonald's too bitch." I laughed my words. We drove to McDonald's and ate some food.
As we were eating, we see these guys come in looking high as hell. 'I bet they got the munchies. I know that feeling.' "Wait you got high before?" "Oh did I say that shit out loud?" I smacked my face while eating my food. "Noooo." I said while munching on my food. "Yeah okay bitch." She laughed. "It's okay I don't judge you though. Like I said before I like you." We both laughed together eating our food. The three guys that walked in McDonald's turned around cause I bet they heard us laughing. "Oh shit they go to our school." Katie said. "Oh really?" I look over to them looking at us. Then they turn back around since we caught them looking at us. We saw them finish ordering their food and they got a table a little bit close to us. The one guy had his hood up so I couldn't make him out since he sat facing away from facing me. But the other two I could see. They were facing towards me. One had dirty blonde hair and had tan skin with looked like he had blue eyes I could tell. He was muscular like the other one. His skin color was like light chocolate brown and his eyes looked like a dark brown that went with his dark black curly fade. But I wonder the one with the hood looked like. "Why don't you take a picture sweetheart. It will last longer!" The one guy with the dirty blonde hair said. I rolled my eyes at him. "Why don't you eat my ass. I bet you eat booty for a living." I said back to him. "Damn you feisty. I like feisty." I rolled my eyes at him again. He may be handsome but he seemed like such a player. Katie laughed at my response. I saw the guy's friend's laughed at my response too. The guy with the brown hair then was quite.
