Chapter 2

Kylie POV

"He's so dreamy. He's a jerk who almost ran me over. But he's so..."

"Hey Kylie! Guess what?" my best friend Trish practically shouted at me as she opened her locker.

I woke up from my daydream about THAT jerk.

"What now, Trish?" I sighed.

"There's a super hot new guy at school today! He's like so hoooot! And he's going to be in our class next period!" Trish squealed.

I rolled my eyes. "Seriously? Who transfers here in the middle of October? And why do you care if he's hot or not? You know, you already have a boyfriend."

Trish sighed. "It doesn't mean I can't stare at hot guys. Loosen up a little, girl!"

"Whatever you say, Trish. Don't kill me if I tell Brandon..."

"KYLIE. You did not just say that!" Trish screeched as she tickled me. "Are you really going to tell Brandon now?"

"Stop! Stop!" I said, breathless from laughing. "It's not fair that you take advantage of my weakness. Fineeeeee, I won't tell him!"

Sometimes I don't know how I got a friend like Trish. She's super nice and pretty. Not to mention loud. Kind of the complete opposite of me, but somehow we're best friends. I guess the saying "Opposite attracts" is true. Of course, I mean it in the friend way. Not the other way...

The warning bell rang.

Trish sang out. "Time for first period! And a super hot guy!"

I just rollled my eyes. "Let's just go to class."

Sorry this is super short! But can someone please comment/vote? It lets me know if you guys like this story or not! I really appreciate the 3 people who voted on the 1st chapter! :) Promise the next chapter will be longer...is short chapters preferable to longer ones? I mean, I would update faster if they are shorter...let me know!
