{Eren's POV}

'Wow, what a rollercoaster.
I was 22, the age Levi was when we got together.
He was 29, nearly 30.

During our time in the school, it took a lot of time to tell my friends about our relationship.
Jean said that he was slightly shocked that his ship became canon... whatever the fuck that means...
Connie laughed, not believing a word.
Armin took a while to calm down and told me a whole hour about how it was illegal and the law. But other than that, he was okay with it.

Sasha wasn't listening and just shoved hot chilli wave Doritos in her wide mouth.
And then there was Mikasa.
She did not take it well.
I believe that her exact words were.
"I can't believe that you would do stuff like that! It is absolutely disgusting, he is your fucking teacher, and you're in a relationship with HIM?!
I am so much better than that short perv" She shouted angrily with a deep glare shown on her face.

In honesty, at the time I was slightly afraid of what she might do next, but all she did was storm out of the building.
The only thing is that ever since that incident 5 years ago, I've never spoken, seen, heard of Mikasa.'

I was suddenly broke out of thought when my husband slowly shook my shoulder.
"Hey, are you alright, Eren?"
"Yeah, I'm great Levi, I was just thinking about everything that has happened from when we told my friends" I spoke with a cheeky smile making him smirk.

"Remember that time when we were in Erwin's office?" His expression changed to a devilish smirk.
"Y-Yes... i do remember... I can't believe we did that" I spoke with a rush of heat hitting my cheeks as I spoke.

"What about the time when we were in the cafe? When we first met outside school?" He spoke with a smile.
I responded back with a smile. And pulled him into a loving kiss.

"I really love you, you know that?" I ask with a sparkle shining in the corner of my eye.
"Of course. I love you too."
He smiled and grabbed ahold of my hand and rubbed his thumb over my ring.

"Forever"

"Of course, that word. Forever.
Is a strong word, it means, well, you know...Forever.

You know, Carla, our Daughter She always asks me how I am.
Remember when we adopted her?
She was only 6... I could have never asked for more."

"You know? A daughter, a husband. What more could you want. We had a happy family... so very happy" I smiled sadly.
"That phone call changed everything I miss you, you know? Carla Misses you, Hanji and Erwin... you were going to be their best man..."

I took a deep breath.

"You know, you were 34 when we adopted Carla... we had been through it all, the first day of school, her sleepovers, her parents evenings...boys..."

I laugh nervously.

"We has been through it all..."
I pause.
"But not enough..."
"Carla is 18 in 2 months... remember what you said when she became 15?
'I can't believe how much she has grown... once she is 18, I better be the first person she invites for her first drink...'"

A tear slowly rolls down my cheek but I stay smiling from the memories.

"I can remember everything... from that cafe, to the... incident in Erwin's Office... to our wedding day... but the one thing that I can't get out of my head... was that phone call... and 3 months after it."

"They said that you wouldn't last half of that... but I knew that they would be wrong... I knew that, someone as strong as you, would be able to put up a fight...Even if it was, against cancer."

Even more tears fell down my cheek.
But I made no noise.

"However you stayed strong... for yourself, but mainly your family.
Even though you aren't here..."

I wiped my tears and placed the palm of my hand across my heart.

"You will always be here, and you'll never leave... so this message comes from me, Carla, Erwin and Hanji... and any other you would like to add to the mix"
I chuckle slightly.

"We love you, no matter who you are.
Or where you are"

I kiss my fingers and place them softly onto the hard rock that stood infront of me.
