Leo looked shocked.  "I can't believe that happened to you.

Darcy shrugged.  "Well it did." She shivered at the memory of the feeling of being grabbed by a Cyclops.

Leo squeezed her hand in attempt to comfort her.  She looked away, ashamed of her weakness.

Approximately 4 years and 11 months earlier

Darcy had been in captivity a month now.  She had gotten used to how things went.  They were taken out of their cage once a day for the bathroom, fed once in the morning and given water three times a day.

The only exception of getting out of the cage was when Gaea wanted to know where the Argo II, Leo's warship, was in the sky.  They expected her to know since she was the daughter of Zeus, and she did.  She had no intention to have her best friend killed so she played dumb.  And yes, that was hard since she was a very bad liar and she knew exactly where the warship was.

It was safe in Leo's mind.  Right about now he was riding around his bronze dragon, Festus, in Quebec along with Jason and Piper.

"What do you mean the warship is in Qwebec?" Gaea asked furiously.  Gaea was just a sleeping face in the dirt and Darcy wasn't afraid of her and she knew if she stayed if the earth, she would be fine.

Darcy held up a finger.  "You don't actually pronounce the U in Quebec.  But don't feel bad, it's a common mistake for people who aren't from Canada." Darcy grinned lazily.

"You aren't from Canada, you lived in Texas!" Gaea snarled.

Darcy shrugged.  "I did just move there when I met Leo, from Ottawa, by the way." She paused.  "I thought you would know, I mean, you must be a geography expert and everything, eh?"

"Shut up!" Gaea screeched.  "Where are they?" Her scream made the entire structure around Darcy vibrate.

Darcy shrugged.  "I told you."

Gaea sighed.  "Bring her back to the cage."

Leo looked at Darcy in amazement.  "You risked your ass for us?"

Darcy shrugged.  "Not that I have much of an ass, but yes, yes I did."

Leo laughed and stood up.  The sun had set over the horizon, casting a golden orange glow over the tips of the trees and onto the camp.  "It's getting late." Leo said.  "It's about time we go to bed."

Darcy nodded.  "Goodnight." She was about to walk away but Leo stopped her.

Leo frowned.  "That's it?" He asked.

She frowned.  "Sorry, I just haven't done it in awhile."

Leo smiled softly.  "Let's try again."

Darcy nodded.  "Goodnight." She smiled.

Leo grinned.  "Don't let the Daleks bite."

They hugged.  Leo still smelt like machine oil and breath mints.  After all this time, she thought.

They pulled away from eachother.  Leo winked and they went their seperate ways.

That night Darcy had a horrible dream.
James lay on the damp floor, shivering.  He had his arms wrapped around himself and in the little light there was in the room, there were cuts in a crisscrossed pattern across his face.  The heavy metal door at the other side of the room was propped open with something that looked like a human skull half set in concrete and voices were coming from the hallway.
There was a loud bang and a flash of blinding light and then the door flew off it's hinges.  A girl stood framed in the light.  She was no taller than five seven, she wore a light blue toga that only reached her knees, her dark brown hair was held back with a thin gold band, her green eyes held a sparkle and her stomach buldged.  She was pregnant.
She crossed the room and ripped the door of the metal cage, as if it was paper, and crouched to the best of ger ability and peered into the cage.  "Are you alright?" She asked James.  He looked up at her.  As soon as she saw his face, she raised her eyebrows.  "No, you're not."
She held her hand out towards him and he hesitantly took it, like he was afraid she was going to add another cuts to his face.  She gently pulled him up after she had managed too stand herslef up.
He looked up at her.  "Thank you." He rasped.
The girl smiled kindly.  "Let's get you to Camp Half-Blood." She said, leading him out of the room.
"I need to find Darcy." James croaked.
The girl put on half a smile.  "I know."

Darcy woke up in a cold sweat.  Light streamed through the window illuminating cabin one.  She could shake the image of James' cut up face and the pregnant girl.  She felt so... familiar somehow.

There was a knock at the cabin's door and Darcy sleepily walked over and opened it.  Leo's girlfriend, Calypso, walked right in.  She took four steps into the cabin and swivled around to face Darcy.

Darcy felt embarrassed that she was in her pajamas and her hair was a ball of fuzzy mess on top of her head while Calypso looked perfectly groomed.

"I'm not Leo's girlfriend." She blurted.

Darcy yawned.  "What?"

"He just wanted to see how you would take it." She said, pacing back and forth in front of Darcy.  "He's has someone who us a little more than a girlfriend and he just wanted too introduce you to the idea gently."

Darcy frowned.  "Ok..," She shrugged.  "I understand, it's fine."

Calypso frowned.  "But we kissed."

Darcy nodded a smiled awkwardly.  "I noticed." She touched her tongue to the back of her teeth.

Calypso frowned and sat down on the ground looking very guilty.  "But I fell bad."

Darcy awkwardly walked around her.  "I don't paly therapist very well." She said.

Calypso looked back at Darcy.  "You look afraid."

Darcy nodded.  "I need to go see Leo, I had a dream."
