InuYasha x Kagome

Chapter 2

The sun beamed through Kagome's window, and she awoke with a yawn. Instead of being in her bed, she was in her chair. Her head and arms were sprawled over her desk, along with her notebooks still out,
"Mhm. What time is it?" She mumbled.
Kagome opened her eyes more to check the time. "Oh no! I'm going to be late!" She instantly woke up. She changed into her school uniform and shoved her books into her bag with haste. Kagome rushes down the stairs, just to bump into her mom.
"Good morning Kagome! I'm glad to see your back!" She beamed.
"No time to talk! I got to go!"
"But what about food!" Her mom called after her as she slipped on her shoes and ran out the door.
"Never mind that! I love you! Bye!" And with that, Kagome went running off to school.

-InuYasha's POV-
"When will Kagome be back! We have things to do here! InuYasha complained.
"Maybe if you hadn't chased her off we would be hunting down Naraku right about now." Sango stated.
"Gosh, your such a moron!" Shippo pitched in.
BANG!
"Ow! What was that for!" Shippo yelled as he tried his best to attack InuYasha.
"I have no reason to answer to you, pipsqueak!"
"Why don't you go and get Kagome, then we can go out." Miroku suggested.
"Ha! She can come here, I'm not running after her! She's the one that started it!" InuYasha snorted.
"Then why do you sit by the well?" Sango questioned, a smirk on her face.
"Huh?"
Sango caught InuYasha off guard, his face flustered.
He quickly turned away. "Because I can!"
"Oh please, we all know you miss her." It was Shippo again, but this time hiding behind Kirara.
InuYasha glared at him, the look of death imbedded in his gaze.
"Ju-just go after her." Shippo stuttered with fear coursing through him.
"Hmp! Fine, but only because we need to get back on the move!"
InuYasha got up and then perched himself on the well. "I'll be back with Kagome soon."
Then he jumped down the well.
"Sango."
"Yes Shippo?"
"Ever wonder what it's like in Kagome's world. I mean, only her and InuYasha can travel through time."
"You've got a point. Sometimes I do, but at least we always know that they won't abandon us forever." Sango said as she gazed up to the morning sky.

InuYasha just crossed through the well and walked inside the house. "KAGOME! Hurry up and get over here!"
Kagome's mom walked in. "Oh InuYasha! If your looking for Kagome, then she's at school. You can stay here in the mean time!"
InuYasha sighed. "It's fine, I'll just go after her."
"Um, InuYasha, are you sure you want to do that? Kagome will get very angry." She warned.
"Eh, I'll take my chances, she was already angry last time I saw her."
The mom put her hands on her hips. "Okay then, you'll stay here until she gets back or you go back."
It was quiet for awhile. Damn. I really can't wait around like this, but I have to. Stupid Kagome.
"Alright, I'll wait."
"Good! While you wait, would you like some instant ramen?"
Instant ramen. The food Kagome would always bring InuYasha when she came back from home. "No I'm good. I just ate." Kagome...
"If you insist! Kagome will be back in a couple of hours, so you're going to be waiting for awhile. Tell me if you need anything!" Kagome's mom then walked back into the kitchen.
Well I suppose I should wait in her room for her.
