InuYasha x Kagome

Chapter 4

"This is tasty!" Shippo said through a mouthful of cheesy chips.
"It's been awhile now, should we get InuYasha and head out now?" Sango said after she finished a bite of food.
Kagome looked straight at Sango with a gaze that could pierce someone's soul. "I've never heard of someone by that name." Kagome said with sass as she turned her head defiantly.
"Okay! That's enough!" InuYasha said as he jumped out of the bushes.
Shippo leaned over to Miroku and whispered something. "How long do you think he was standing there?"
Miroku had no time to answer before Kagome spoke up.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She still kept up the act.
"Hmp! Well then I guess we'll have to do this the hard way!" InuYasha marched over to Kagome and stood in front of her. "Listen here, I'm sorry if your sensitive girl feelings got hurt but you can stop!"
"Sensitive girl feelings you say?" Kagome was now very angry, and Sango also seemed upset by InuYasha's words.
"Funny you know what feelings are. Your just a big dumb stupid demon!"
InuYasha took a step back in shock.
I'm a, stupid, demon?
"Oh wait, I take that back! Your not even a full fledged demon! You're a pitiful half demon!" Kagome was pushing his buttons.
"I've have enough." InuYasha stepped close to Kagome before he picked her up and tossed her into the well.
"InuYasha!" Sango, Miroku, and Shippo exclaimed.

-InuYasha's POV-
Kagome... that's to far, even for you.
The others shouted out.
"Shut up."
InuYasha's voice was cold and harsh, venom seeping out of his words.
He jumped in the well with Kagome.
If I had to guess, it would be around 11, so everyone at Kagome's house would be asleep.
When InuYasha jumped out of the well to be in Kagome's era, he saw her crying beside the well.
"Kagome?" InuYasha said in just above a whisper, his voice laced with worry and confusion.
What is this feeling? Why do I feel so bad and guilty all of a sudden?
Kagome has her knees tucked in with her arms folded across them. She looked up and shining tears flowed down her face.
"Kagome." InuYasha repeated, except this time he had hints of sympathy in his tone.
I had no idea. I was going around thinking that I was the only one here that was getting hurt, and now I realize I'm wrong. But it's too late now, she hates me.
"InuYasha..." Kagome whispered.
"Huh?"
"InuYasha, I'm, I'm sorry."
Kagome buried her face back into her arms. InuYasha knelt down beside her and brought her into his embrace. Kagome let out a gasp.
"No, I'm the one who should be sorry."
Kagome stayed frozen in place before she wrapped her arms around him.
The two of them stayed in each other's arms for awhile before parting.
"Let's go back now."
"Yea." Kagome mumbled. "But first, did you really mean it?"
"Mean what?"
"About Kikyo, that she's better than me." Kagome looked away.
InuYasha took one of his hands and cupped Kagome's head so she would look at him. He gave her a reassuring smile before he stood up.
"Here." InuYasha held out his hand as he helped Kagome up. She looked into his golden eyes. "You never denied it." Kagome whispered. With that she jumped in.
