InuYasha x Kagome

Chapter 11

-Kagome's POV-
"What is it that you wanted to show me! I'm getting impatient!"
InuYasha rolled his golden eyes. "Jeez do you ever shut up! We're almost there."
My cheeks flared. I hated surprises, well, most of the time at least.
InuYasha glanced over at the pouting Kagome and snorted.
"What? Do you think this is entertaining?"
"Yes, very."
Kagome was lifted out of her 'mood' when she saw a wide stream with rocks making a little path across it.
"AHH! It's so cute!"
"Glad you like the water, now do you want to see the surprise?"
Kagome's eyes lit up. "Yes!"
I squealed like a little girl getting candy, but that didn't matter, I could tell this would be a major surprise!
"Okay its a bit past this stream, and watch out! I don't want you to fall!"
"Yes dad!"
"Well that'll be awkward making love with your dad!" InuYasha laughed.
"YOU PEVERT! That's disgusting! Ew!"
My face was on fire. He just had to go and say that!
"All jokes aside, seriously, watch your step."
"Got it." I carefully got across and InuYasha held his hand out for me. "Thanks."
He nodded. I was just noticing the beautiful trees surrounding and the vibrant wildflowers by the stream. "It's lovely."
"Just wait until you see the house." InuYasha murmured.
"A house?"
"Crap!"
"Did you build us a house?"
InuYasha turned to me and chuckled. "No point of trying to keep the surprise."
My heart started to throb in my chest. This was the man who I wanted to live the rest of my life with. He was my one, my beloved, InuYasha.
"It's just over here!"
"Right!"
I was beside the stream, not having a chance to look back, but when I turned around, I saw the most amazing thing ever.
It was a house. It appeared to be two stories and quite large. The hut had a front and a back door with some windows. It seemed extremely sturdy but comfy. A huge wisteria tree was on the left of the hut. It.was.massive.
There were blotches of flowers sprouting around the house.
"It's-it's beautiful." Tears flowed down my face. "I love it! How did you find this place?"
InuYasha gave a sheepish grin. "Before I met you I was alone a lot, so I wondered around and ending up finding this place."
"Can we go inside?"
"No. We can't."
My face seemed to fall apart until I heard InuYasha laugh-yet again.
"Pfft! Your face! Hahaha! I'm joking! Haha-OW"
I jabbed him with my elbow. "InuYasha!"
He still managed to keep laughing before he calmed himself. "Ya, we can go in."
My face beamed.
"Have I told you how much I love you."
"I think you have." InuYasha replied.
Kagome started to rub his fluffy dog ears and he began to purr.
"Hehe! I didn't know dogs could purr!"
InuYasha never heard her, he was to into the ear rub.
"Hehe!"
He shot out of the trans when he heard Kagome's angelic laugh. "So yet you can laugh?" He teased.
"Oh you! Let's just go in!" Kagome tapped his nose before grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the house.
