InuYasha x Kagome

Chapter 5

"Kagome!" InuYasha jumped in after her. When he had crossed back over, Kagome was already dashing away back to the village.
Kagome... I couldn't say it to you. I'm such a fool. I don't know... I don't know which one of you to chose.
InuYasha stood still in the cold air as the wind constantly blowed at him.

-Kagome's POV-
InuYasha... I thought that you liked me. Why was I so stupid. He met and fell in love with Kikyo before me. He'd never love a girl like me. The wind blew strong against me as I ran as fast as my feet would take me. Then I heard it, the sound of a flute. I didn't know why, but it lured me in, my feet changed directions and I walked closer and closer to the hum of its melody. Soon I found myself beside a river.
"He doesn't love you." A deep voice called out.
"He's just using you, can't you tell?" This time it was a females voice.
"Jump in the river, let it wash away your troubles." The man spoke.
Jump... I want to jump in the river. My body went num and by feet clumsily walked closer in the river, and then I fell in. It was cold and ruthless, that's when I came back to my senses.
What happened! I was possessed! I need help, but I can't speak! InuYasha! Help me!
The water splashed against me as I thrashed against it. I gasped out in alarm when my hand had cut a sharp rock, blood was gushing out now. This meant I only had my left hand to use and I could already feel myself falling. My eyes started to close and my body was now being pushed along with the rapids, to who knows where, with no one knowing my location.

-InuYasha's POV-
"Her scent goes this way!"
InuYasha and the others were chasing around trying to find me.
"A river!" Miroku said.
"He scent ends so she must have fallen in!" InuYasha had so many thoughts racing through his head right now.
Kagome, where are you?
The river was now calm, it it was still as wide and deep as ever.
Sango noticed InuYasha's worried face. "Don't worry, we'll find her. Our best bet is to follow the river downstream."
"Yeah, but it's all my fault." InuYasha said to himself.
After walking for a minute, InuYasha has hit with a strong scent. "It's Kagome's blood! The stench, it's from three hours ago, when she went missing!" InuYasha sprinted off down the river side, hoping to find Kagome. Her blood was splattered on the grass in that one section, and on some rocks.
I have to find you Kagome! Just hang in there!

-Kagome's POV-
Kagome woke up to the harsh morning sun light on a rocky shore of a little pond with a waterfall at the top.
"Ack!" Kagome shrieked. Her clothes were terribly ripped up leaving her top to a very high going crop top with no sleeves. What was worse was here skirt, since it was barely even there. Only the top of it was there, but you could still see spots of her bubblegum pink underwear.
"This is bad, very, very bad!" That's when she noticed the gash on her right arm. The bleeding had stopped, but it was still bright red and the pain was very much present.
"I've got to bandage this up!" Kagome stated. Luckily, she found one of her torn sleeves beside her and wrapped it around the wound to cover it up.
"Now to do something about my pants."
When she tried to get up, she fell back down.
"Ow! I guess I sprained my ankle."
I'm not having a good day right now. Someone help me!
