I pressed the power button gently and waited for my flight number to be called. All morning my stomach was in nervous and excited butterflies. Finn and I were seeing each other for the first time in over 2 months, which was making me so nervous. What if he wanted something again right away, I'm not ready for that exactly. But no matter what I knew iris was gonna be there for me. I'm excited for that though because we haven't seen each other for so long, and we still texted everyday but that's not the same thing.
"Flight 489 to LA boarding now."
My number was called but something was keeping me glued to the seat. I quickly grabbed my phone from my lap.

And with that I got out of the chair and boarded. I knew that 6 hour flight would be torture. I was an 'unaccompanied minor' flying next to a screaming baby and a chick that smelled like she hadn't showered in months. It was basically hell in the air. It was mainly hell because I thought of my first flight to LA and the amazing experience I had, just getting to know Finn. I smiled a little each time I thought about how much fun that flight was, but I cringed thinking about how awkward things might be now.

When the plane landed, I was the first out of my seat. I wanted to get off as soon as I could. I maneuvered my way through the airport and found my luggage. I felt multiple buzzes in my pocket but I let them go as I searched aimlessly for Iris. I scanned the room until I felt three small taps on my shoulder.
"Hanna...I've...missed...you...so...much." Iris said through our breathless, happy tear-filled hug.
"Iris, you have no clue how great it is to be with you again."
We chatted for a little and then left the airport. I texted my mom and Karlie to let them know things went okay, but I couldn't wait to spend time with my girl Iris. She pulled into her driveway and there he was, sitting on his phone. The butterflies erupted in my stomach again. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I still don't know if it was happy or sad. I opened up my door and I walked over to him. I pulled him up by his arm and hugged him gently. The 7 inch height difference was very evident as I was wrapped helplessly around his torso with his chin laying on the top of my head.
"Finn. I'm so sorry for all of this."
"Hanna. You have no reason to be sorry, okay?"
I smiled gently as I looked into his eyes. His eyes flicked down to my lips, causing them to curl in. I turned on my heel to go get my luggage. The rest of the night was filled with pointless conversations and tons of catching up. There was nothing awkward, it was comfortable. And peaceful. And full of realizations.
One of which being my realization that,
I am still madly in love with him.
