Lillie's POV:
We walked to the city in an uncomfortable silence. "So how's life?" I ask, in order to break the ice.
"Decent." He says with a chuckle, "decent?" I ask, "your a giant turtle and you say decent? There's more to it then that."
He looks at me out of the corner of his eye, caution written all over his face. "I'm not going to tell anyone about you, I have no friends here and I have a larger risk of being out into an insane asylum if I do. So stop giving me that look."
He looks stunned at me and we have stopped walking. My arms folded over my chest, "okay, why should I trust you?" He says, I could hear anger rising in him.
"I just gave you a reason didn't I? No one would believe me. It doesn't matter if they would or not anyways. Where's the fun in telling?" I say.
He sighs, "I guess your right, I don't know it's just, your right." He pauses and I can see a thought running through his head. "Come on let's get this show on the road, you got a lot to see out-of-towner." He finally says.
I grin and we start walking again. As the buildings start to thicken Raph jumps to the roof tops. "Come on slow poke." He calls, "shut up." I call back and make my way up the fire escape of the building.
We jump from roof top to roof top and Raph points out various places. After a bit we come to a rest, "and that was a majority of New York in one hour, thank you." Raph says, I clap and laugh. "So does that help with the move?" He asked.
"A bit, what really helps is to have someone I know, who knows the city. Not the most dependable person, but a friend." I say and sit down. "So, you going to tell me about the life of a giant turtle?"
"Perhaps a bit." Raph says, sitting next to me. "For one thing I'm a mutant turtle, there was this mutanage chemicals that turned me and my three brothers from regular turtles to mutant ones."
"So you've got brothers, a family?" I ask trying to be a bit sincere. "Yep, Leonardo, our oh so fearless leader, Donnie, the smart one, and Mikey, the baby." He finished, "oh, and Master Splinter, he's a rat. He raised us and trained us."
"Trained you in what?" I ask. "Japanese ninjutsu." He says looking at me. "When you were mentioning your brothers, they all had a role. What's your's?" I say wanting to know more about him.
He scoffs, "I'm the angry one."
"How vague." I roll my eyes.
"Well, I don't know." Raph says, annoyance rising in his voice.
"What do you like to do?" I ask, there's more to him then just anger. I know that. "Well, I like my punchin bag. And I got a pet turtle named Spike."
"Wait. Is a turtle able to own another?" My mind boggles. "Wouldn't that be like a dog owning another dog?" Raph laughs, "no, I'm smarter and," he searches for a word. "Evolved?" I help.
"Yeah, that's it." I laugh and he looks away sheepishly.
"Well, it's getting late. Want to walk me back?" I say and get up. "Yeah sure, had to sneak out of the lair. Better get back before someone notices I'm gone." He says and follows me, we start making our way back to my house.
We get to my backyard, "thanks for the tour, it may help with my navigation issue." I say. "Doubt it," He says. "Then you'll have to help help me." I reply, and shuffle my feet.
He rolls his eyes, "okay. Well um. I'll talk to you later." I say and make my way to under my window. Looking up, "now how to get back up?" I ask, forgetting Raph's presence.
"Do you need help?" Raph says walking towards me, "no-" Raph picks me up by the waist, giving me a boost.
I climb up "gee, thanks, jackass." I say to him from my window. He smirks up and me and waves. I wave back, I close my window and get ready for bed.
