Raph's POV:
Passing the way Lillie went, I glance down the sewer. The nagging was back, so I decided to follow my gut and stay on her trail.
"Yep, not right." I breath, the way she weaves through the streets as if she owned the place. Sure Lillie had lived here for nearly a year but she still couldn't navigate the streets of New York if her life depended on it.
She went to an old warehouse, in a shady place of town, where real-Lillie would not have been able to find.
From the roof I see foot soldiers at every entrance, too many for me, much to my pride's dismay.
I burst back to the lair, Leo was sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. "Leo," his head shoots up at my voice.
"Raph I swear I didn't-I would never-" I laugh as he stutters face red.
"Why are you laughing? Your girlfriend kissed me!" Leo asks appalled. That reminds me of the serious task at hand.
"About that, it wasn't Lillie. I followed her after she left, she went quickly to this old warehouse with foot soldiers."
Leo sighs, "Raph, I know you're not thinking straight here."
"What? No I'm serious she's not right! It's not Lillie! She leaves without saying goodbye, comes through the sewers without panicking, and she walks through New York like a local!" I ramble off, my mind spinning. Mikey and Donnie had come out from our yelling.
"Okay, Raph, lets go, if it makes you feel better." Leo says, pity in his eyes.
"It does and I'm not wrong I know that girl like the back of my hand." I say and walk towards the exit, my brothers following me.
We sit on a rooftop a building away from the warehouse. "Anyway in Don?" I ask, Donnie looking at diagrams on his t-phone.
"I think so, there seems to be a weak spot, here." He points to a small window on the bottom floor.
"Okay, we go in there then." I say, adrenaline pumping through my veins.
We leap off the building and silently enter the warehouse. I glance around a corner, clear.
I wanted to rip through this place, I needed to find her. We stopped, waiting for Don to hack into the system to find Lillie. I stood there, fidgeting, I couldn't stand still.
"Got her." Donnie says, I snatch the device, though the stupid dots made to sense to me. Donnie takes it back and we follow it to a large room. The dot we were following was moving, as if running.
I hear footsteps whipping my head I see her "Raph!" She shouts, I'm just about to run when another Lillie comes up behind her, "Raph!"
"Shit." I mutter, eyes darting from the two of them.
"Bros, how we gonna do this?" Mikey asks.
"Just ask them questions?" Donnie suggests.
"Raph your up." Leo states pushing me forward.
I try to spot differences, same freckles, same scar on her forehead. Shell, they even had the same acne spots.
"Raph," they both say at the same time. "Don't do that!" They yell at each other.
"I'm Lillian Mae Nelson!" They continue to speak in unison.
"No you're not!"
"Ugh!"
"Kay, enough of that!" I shout over them. An idea struck me, crossing my arms over my plastron and smirk.
"Lillie, I need a new book." Confusion flash across both of their faces, but I saw that little light shining in the real Lillie's eyes.
I quickly use my sias to destroy the clone. "Do you really need a book? Because I don't know what she screwed up, and I've got to fix it." Lillie looks up at me.
"Na, I'm still working on the other one." I reply and I give her a hug, lifting her off the ground.
"Thanks for the help boys, but I'm going to walk Lillie home." I say,
"um, thanks guys. I'll stop by with some cookies later." She says.
Lillie's POV:
The two days in capture was horror. I was in a small room, which was the first problem. Then I was fed once a day, a stale piece of bread and some odd looking water. I was able to escape by taking a piece of rock that had come loose and break the door hinges.
I told Raph my story as we walked home. "I'm sorry, babe." I had okayed this nickname by not smacking him.
"For what?"
"I just feel I should have been there."
"Well, that's how it turned out. We're all fine, except my clone. So there's nothing to apologize for."
We come to her house, "Ill meet ya here tomorrow night, 8:45." He turned to give me a quick kiss, but I grabbed his shell and deepened it. He complied willingly. The past few days has been harder then I was willing to admit in words so I tried to put it into our kiss.A/N
