Lillie's POV:
One week past, I haven't spoken a single word to my parents. I didn't try to contact Raph, I couldn't. The color red, made my eyes water and normal turtles punched at my heart.
At school, I was quiet, my friends kept trying to get me to see the school therapist, they thought I had a mental illness or something. No underpaid, teacher was going to make me feel better anyways.
First day at school after what happened, April and Casey tried to approach me. I avoided them, it would just make everything worse. I hid in the bathroom until April gave up and left.
Night was worse, when I was alone with my thoughts. Tears pierced my eyes every evening.
Two weeks past, and I fell into an emotionless routine. I talked to my friends but my laughs were hollow.
My parents were getting fed up with my silence towards them and they yelled at me or aggravated me to try to break me.
Little did they know there was nothing left to break. The book Raphael gave me sat on my bookshelf. I couldn't bear to part with it, so it just stayed there.
Raph's POV:
I had been beating the shit out of my bag for hours. My music was on, the tears had stopped but my pain hadn't.
I heard the door open but I ignored it. I heard words but they didn't reach my head. The only thing I saw was red.
Leo's POV:
Raph had been punching that bag for hours, it was getting annoying. I knocked on his door, he didn't answer, finally I just opened it.
He was destroying his bag, his face looked almost tear stained.
"Raph?" The hot head ignore me.
"Hello? Would you stop that!" His T-phone on the ground catches my eye. It was open, a message on the screen.
After reading it a few times I lay the device on his bed before softly shutting the door.
Raph's POV again
A week past, I hardly left my room. I used the bathroom, but everything else was in my room. I didn't go after her, it would put us in danger and I was too pissed and heartbroken to do so.
After a week Master Splinter came in, made a speech about all the fish in the sea and to move on. I just nodded, it still hurt, everything had a numb pain to it.
From then on I trained and went on patrol with my brothers to please Splinter. Other than that I isolated myself, stayed in my room. Either stared at the closed, overdue library books, or hit my bag.
I was looking through my desk when something shiny caught my eye. Picking it up, it was the locket I planned on giving to Lillie. Opening it I see a picture of us, she's beautiful and we look happy. The words, You give me that feeling that the best books are written about written on the other side of the picture. I had carefully written it out, making sure every word was spelt right, and was easily readable.
It had taken me forever to think of that. I had chickened our giving it to her for her birthday, and forgotten it. Looking at the words now new tears formed and took control, I closed the locket and placed it back in the drawer gently. Then I turned to my bag, after looking at it I finally just leaned my head against it, defeat swallowing me.
