Lillie's POV:
I was walking back from the lair, (my birthday was in three days) the boys had warmed up to me. Or more so Leo didn't glare at me and I kept my mouth shut when something too salty wanted to come up.
I heard a crash in an alleyway next to me. "Raph is that you?" I ask, "I swear if you jump out, I'll knock your head-" Something came up to me and it wasn't Raph. The thing stifled my scream and I was met by blackness.
Raph's POV:
I texted Lillie that night wondering if she wanted to meet up. She replied that she was busy, it was odd, she didn't give an explanation and it was blunt. Though I shrugged it off, she was probably just tired or something.
I went back to her gift. I had sent April to go develop my pictures of me and Lille. I had a notebook open with crappy sketch ideas of what to do with it. A simple silver locker laid on my desk.
I found it in the sewers and want to personalize it a bit, though I wasn't sure how. I also had books opened, I was thinking of engraving a quote from one of them.
I herd April in the lair I quickly rush out not wanting my brothers to know about my soft spot.
"Hey April, ya got it?" I ask anxiously.
"What? Oh yeah," she handed me an envelope, "here." Grabbing it from her I mutter my thanks before retreating to my room.
I worked for about two hours before I place it back in a drawer for safe keeping. Stretching I lay on my bed and we come sleep.
Lillie stopped by the next day, "hey guys," she greeted, she seemed stiff.
"Hey, I would love to stay but I have to go train, if I want to slack off on Wednesday." I say, truthfully, Splinter told me to let her spend time alone with my brothers so they could become friendlier or something like that. It didn't help the flutter of jealousy that beat in me.
"Um, okay." She said,
"How was the walk over? I could have walked you over if you'd texted."
Lillie seemed confused, "it's fine, I wanted to surprise you guys anyway."
As I entered the dojo something nagged at my brain. Why did she keep saying guys? And what's with that confused and hesitant looks?
When I left to dojo, Lillie had already left, "without saying goodbye?" I ask myself as I go to my room.
The next afternoon after training I placed the finishing touch on Lillie's gift. I looked at it, not perfect, but it was original and homemade. She would love it. Wrapping it up and placing it in the drawer and leave my room.
I don't see anyone in the living room, usually Leo was watching Space Heros by now. I enter the kitchen for some leftover pizza and freeze in my tracks.
Before me was Leo in a corner, with Lillie on him. Kissing. Full on mouth on mouth kissing. I hear my heartbreaking. "What the shell?" I cry, Leo pushes her away.
"Raph I swear-" Leo tries to explain but I'm not listening. I stare at Lillie, who just shrugs.
"What on-" I can't find the words. She scoffs and pushes past me.
"You promised!" I yell to her back. "Bitch." I hiss, giving Leo the deadliest glare ever witnessed I storm off.
