Nuzlocke Killers (Ash-GreninjaGirl)

While I've never played a nuzlocke before, I have watched YouTubers who have (*cough* Supra *cough*). So without further ado, here's a list of the worst things you could run into while doing a nuzlocke. By the way, I won't be naming any specific Pokemon because these nuzlockes are pretty much always randomized from what I've seen, so Pokemon don't have their normal level up movesets or abilities.

1. Any Pokemon with Sturdy and Explosion, Self-Destruct, or another potential one-hit KO move

You thought you were going to get the one-hit KO? Think again. The Pokemon you're battling has Sturdy as its ability. Annoying, but not really a problem, right? I mean, you can just knock it out once it finishes with its counterattack. Except...the move it used was Explosion and now your Pokemon is dead.

2. Guts and Facade combination

Guts is an ability that raises the user's attack stat after being inflicted with a status condition, and Facade is a move that doubles in power under the same circumstances. Oh yeah, and by the way, Facade's base power without a status condition is 70, so if the Pokemon is burned, poisoned, or paralyzed...guess what 70 x 2 is? Remember, in nuzlockes Pokemon abilities and movesets are randomized, so you could potentially run into a Slaking with Guts and Facade. Yeah...good luck with that.

3. Any ability/move that prevents escape and Fling

Your Pokemon has 1/16 of its full HP left, but you can't switch to another Pokemon because the stupid opposing Pokemon has Shadow Tag or Arena Trap. Which will turn out to be your Pokemon's downfall, because the next move the opposing Pokemon uses is...Fling. With a Toxic Orb. Now your Pokemon is poisoned.  And now your Pokemon is dead. Yay.

Well, that's all I'm doing for now since I'm too lazy to think of anything else.
