"She's incredible..." Sensei breathed, taking the baby into his arms. "A mirror image of her parents. I'm sure she will grow up just as strong too."
"Do you think she'll wield any elements?" Jay asked, a little excited.
Nya nodded and looked at Sensei. "We've been wondering if she would inherit Jay's lightning power... or my own."
Sensei lifted his brows. "You know about your powers, Nya? I was meaning to tell you... at some point."
Nya smiled softly. "I saved the Bounty from catching fire. Although, I must be honest, I don't know how to control it. It just kinda... happened."
Sensei patted her arm. "I will train you alongside Jay to wield this power." He looked down at the baby just as Jay and Nya exchanged worried glances. "And as for the little one, only time will tell for which element she will possess. I have not heard of a master of two elements, but perhaps she will be slightly knowledgeable in both arts."
"S-Sensei... training?" Jay shook his head. "Nya and I... we can't. We have a baby to raise and-" He shut his mouth. Sensei couldn't know about what they were.
Surprisingly, Lloyd was the one to speak up. "You guys, please. We need all the help we can get, with everyone else gone. My father is going to take Ninjago and-"
Sensei put a hand on his nephew's shoulder. "That's enough." He turned to Jay and Nya. "It is completely up to you whether you decide to train with us or not. Although we do need an immense amount of help, it is right that your child should be your top priority."
"No." Nya said suddenly. "We'll help you."
Jay turned to her quickly, shocked. "Ny-" He started before she placed a hand on his arm, silencing him.
"May we speak together for a moment, Sensei?" She asked, holding Jay's hand.
"Of course. Take all the time you need." Sensei nodded, gently ushering Lloyd away.
Nya took Jay into the kitchen, where Jay immediately began to pace back and forth.
"We can't do this, Nya. We've never concealed our vampire shit before, and don't even get me started on the baby. She can't even retract her fangs by herself, she'll give us away..."
Nya studied Jay carefully. He was panicking and losing control, not only mentally but also physically. His eyes were glowing an agitated red and his teeth were beginning to sharpen. Noticing worry would only give them away further, she pleaded, "Jay, please, listen to me- You need to calm down."
"Calm down? Nya, how can I calm down when so much is at stake here?"
Nya grasped his hands and forced him to stop pacing. "Look at yourself, Jay!" She hissed. "Worrying isn't helping our situation any better. Our emotions only reveal what we are." And, to demonstrate, she let her own panic take over, her vampiric self shining through in response.
Jay's crimson eyes widened. "Oh no. No." He closed his eyes, slowing his breathing. "Nya, baby, that's all the more reason not to go... We're going to battle, w-we can't be in a stressful environment if we can't control our emotions..."
Nya nodded solemnly. "You're right. What was I thinking?" She buried her face in his chest, sighing heavily. "I'm scared, Jay. I'm so scared..."
Jay held her by the waist, kissing her neck. "Baby..." He mumbled into her ear before smiling to himself. "Nya, I'm sorry, but... god, you're so sexy..." He lifted her up and let her wrap her legs around his waist. "You look so good like this. I never want you to hide it away..."
Nya blushed, rolling her eyes. "Jay, please focus. We need to give Sensei an answer..."
He ignored her and lifted her onto the counter, holding her by the hips and kissing one of her inner thighs. "Nya... forget about them. Tell them to go, come back any other time..."
"Jay!" She hissed, trying to push his head away. "God, Jay..." She suppressed a moan, biting her lip in pleasure. "Ah, Jay... fine... F-Fine!" She pushed him off and hopped down from the counter. "I-I'll tell him we'll make our decision tomorrow." She brushed herself off and huffed, her face bright red.
Jay licked his lips, giving her one last kiss before sending her off.
He honestly didn't know what came over him. His actions reminded him of the time Bliv was in his body, controlling him, causing him to fool around.
He often wondered about the time with Nya, the night he got her pregnant. Was Jay the real father of the vampire child? Or was it Bliv? Nya always assured him that the child was Jay's, no matter what. After all, it was Jay's body either way- the vampire genes were just an extra. Nya would also remind him that her mother also held vampiric genes, and inheritance could always skip a generation.
Jay was still never sure, though. Perhaps that was why he kept holding off naming the baby; she was more of Nya's child than Jay's.
