"D-Derek.."
Once I heard that name I froze. Derek?? Maybe it's a different Derek...?
I turned to Matty and spoke quietly. "Derek what?" Matt shrunk into dad's chest almost as if he was afraid to talk to me.
"D-Derek M-Moretti..."
My jaw dropped. What?
I looked over at dad and he had the same expression I did but he quickly masked it with an emotionless face. I closed my eyes as a stray tear fell down my face. I was so angry. I couldn't hold it in anymore....I lost it.
"Are you fucking kidding me Matthew?!?! Derek of all the damn people in the world!! How can you love a killer over me?!"
