Vincent's P.O.V.

I ran my fingers through my hair as I paced back and forth. I didn't sleep at all last night. I tossed and turned for two hours and I just couldn't fall asleep.

Something didn't feel right.

The moment Matt went over to that boys house. I've been feeling extremely uneasy. I mean Derek is a Moretti for crying out loud. They're never up to anything good.

I grabbed my phone and sent Matt a quick text asking him if everything was ok and almost immediately I got a response saying that everything was fine and he'll call me later. I sighed in relief but I still felt butterflies in my stomach.

Matthew's P.O.V.

I sighed finishing the last bite of food on my plate. It was really good but this was the most uncomfortable outing I've ever experienced. The tension in the air was so thick and they barely spoke. I felt so out of place.

We left the restaurant and approached the car. Derek helped me in and then climbed in after me. The ride home was silent and Derek seemed a little off? He seemed like he was lost in thought. Whenever I tried to talk to him it would take him a few minutes to register what I said.

When we got home Derek led me up to his room. He sighed and rubbed a hand over his face. "Um babe I think you should call your dad and tell him you're ok." I frowned. Something isn't right. Without waiting for my response he left the room. What is going on?

I grabbed my phone and dialed dad's number. Surprisingly he answered after he first right. "Angelo? Angelo are you ok? What's wrong?" I giggled "daddy I'm fine. Everything is going fine.....well actually it's a little awkward."

"What do you mean awkward?"

I frowned thinking about what Derek's father said. I sighed. "Well I met his parent and his-"

"You met his parents?!?!" I flinched at the volume of his voice. I nodded forgetting that he couldn't see me. "Y-Yes and his dad is not very nice...." My heartbeat sped up as I head panic in his voice. "Angelo listen to me! You need to come home now! Get your things and leave as soon as possible I don't want you there anymore! Do you understand me?!"

"Dad what's going on?! Why-"

He cut me off. "Matthew do as I say and don't ask questions!! Run about two blocks and then call me ok?!" I didn't have time to answer. The phone went dead.

My head began to pound as I ran my fingers through my hair. I readjusted my glasses on my face and and grabbed Derek's duffel bag that he kept in the closet. I grabbed the little clothes that I had and stuffed them into the bag.

"What are you doing?"

I jumped and spun on my heel. Derek stood in the door way with a very serious face. "Are you leaving me?" I froze trying to think of something to say. "U-Um... I think it's time for me to go...." He frowned and took a step closer to me causing me to take a step back in fear. "Did your father say something to you about leaving?" I shook my head. I visible gulped as Derek took another step towards me. "Matt you can't leave...." I shook my head as a tear rolled down my cheek. I was truly terrified. I panicked as Derek grabbed my wrist pulling me towards his larger body. I screamed only for it to be muffled by a blue rag pressing against my nose and mouth. My eyes felt heavy and I slowly drifted into darkness.

Derek's P.O.V.

I quickly caught Matt's body as he collapsed in my arms. I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves and carried Matt down the stairs.

"Papá!" (Dad) I called out. He came out of the kitchen and smiled darkly when he saw a passed out Matt in his arms. "Papà! Dobbiamo sbrigarci. Aiutami a legarlo alla sedia e poi possiamo seguire il piano." (Dad! We need to hurry. Help me to tie him to the chair and then we can follow through with the plan.)
