"So, you didn't change your number to avoid me?"

I looked at him, horrified as the cool wind whipped at my face. 

"You were my best friend, why would you even think that? I don't believe you."

He never answered my first question

His hazel eyes pierced into mine, "We should stop living in the past."

I looked at him, shocked, "What?"

"All of our arguments are about who was wrong, who was right, who was cheating on who, who broke each other's heart."

I gulped. He was right. 

"You're right, you know," I admitted.

A huge, goofy smile broke out on his pale face. 

He then muttered the three words that would change my future forever. I was done living in the past. "Can we start over?"

I nodded, "Hi, my name is Ally Dawson."

A smile cracked on his face, "Austin Moon."

He stuck his hand out at me.

"Friends?"
