When my eyes slipped open, my face was hot and I was sweating like a dog.I realized that in his sleep Austin had pulled me tremendously close to him and his hand was sprawled against his chest.
Blushing at our awkward and intimate positioning, I tried to push out of his grip, with no luck.
Instead, I tried to shimmy out.
Again, no luck. Finally, about after 10 minutes of his tight grip on my waist I got out. Thank God.
And then, my mind began to wander. Last night, Austin had called me pretty and asked me if I was single. Last night, I had just dismissed it as him being really drunk but then something my mother told me slipped out, "people are the most truthful when they are drunk."
I bit my lip.
Did that mean that Austin still had feelings for me?
And then another thought crossed my mind.
I, definitely wasn't one of the most pretty girls out there. But, I wasn't going to lie and say Austin wasn't attractive because he was.
How did he not have a girlfiriend, when I dated after our break-up? Or if did he have one that he wasn't telling me about?
And at that moment Austin rose beside me.
"Ally," he was breathing heavily, his pale face heaving "I'm going to be sick."
I grabbed him by his wrist and led him to the bathroom, and he immediately threw up.
'Oh Austim," I chastised. "Why did you drink so much?"
"I w-w-as." He broke off. "I don't know Alls."
"Go wash up, Austin. I'll make you something to eat." I said tiredly.
"Can you make me pancakes, please?"
"Sure, Austin."
I pressed my lips to his cheek, and his eyes got large.
Wow, you freaked him out. Congrats, Alls.
"Feel better, Austin." I said before walking into the kitchen.

'
"Austin, where's the pancake mix?' I shouted.
"We don't have any left," He replied.
I sighed.
Well, I just needed to make them myself

~Austin Moon~
My head was throbbing, and my mouth felt bitter as hell.
Why had I drunk so much?
Well, the answer was clear.
I wanted to drown out all my unsaid emotions, and my hatred at myself for breaking up with her.
She was so sweet, so kind, so loving and all of this pain she was going through was my fault.
How was I supposed to live with that?
I despised myself for ever believing she would cheat on me.
I hate myself for letting her get hurt.
And then one two second kiss, on my cheek was more than a hundred kisses from any other girl.
And then, I heard a big thud from the kitchen.
"Ally," I yelled at the top of my lungs.
On the floor, there was a broken plate.
"Oh go Ally, are you okay?"
She sounded breathless, "I'm fine, Austin."
She looked at the glass around us, "I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it."
She started to move and grimaced.
She looked at her foot in pain, and pulled out a piece of glass.
And there was blood. So much blood.
