"Allyson Marie Dawson, sit down right now," Austin yelled.
I shrank back at his tone, and bit my lip hard enough to draw blood.
He hadn't spoken to me that way in years.
I sat onto the couch, my eyes squeezed shut.
He took out some rubbing alcohol and gauze and bandaged my wound carefully. I looked at him, and his eyes were shining.
"Austin, are you mad at me?"
"No."
I looked at him carefully.
"I'm sorry." I said quietly.
"Don't be. I'm really sorry I drank yesterday.I'm sorry I asked you to make pancakes, and because of that you got hurt. I'm sorry that I can never protect you. I'm sorry that I ever let you go because god knows that's is the most stupid thing anyone could ever do. I'm just so damn sorry Ally ."
His eyes were shining and then something just clicked in me.
He loved me. He still did, after everything.
I still loved him.
I had never even stopped.
And then, I leaned in and kissed him on the lips.
Fireworks exploded. It was the most amazing feeling in the world and I never wanted it to stop.
I tasted toothpaste and mint and just Austin.
I had just simply missed the feeling.
And then I pulled away, and saw his shocke expression.
"Can we please forget that happened?' I asked.
