3rd person POV

"I say Pizza Hut" Anna grins from the back seat of the car. They all moan and grumble in response, an answer that sends Anna into a huff.

"Nando's" Conor suggests instead, receiving a hasty nod from his brother in the passenger seat beside him and his girlfriend Y/n in the back with Anna.

"You always get that" Anna rolls her eyes in disgust. "Fucking boring"

Both boys and Y/n turn to Anna with wide eyes due to her profanity and she shakes her head at them.

"Anna, I'll tell mum" Jack warns.

"I am seventeen" Anna smirks. "You've said way worse"

"But we're older" Conor looks at her through the rear view mirror. Y/n nods in agreement, but certainly doesn't want to get on the bad side of Anna.

"Can you just shut up" Anna scoffs.

"Hey! I won't get you any lunch if you keep yelling at me" Conor picks up his volume.

"Good! I don't want fucking Nando's anyway!" She yells back. Both Y/n and Jack exchange a weary glance and turn to look out the window.

"I'll kick you out!" Conor shouts, making both onlookers jump and Anna just starts screaming back again. The car pulls onto the main road and Y/n stares out the window, hoping the argument between the siblings will finish. She notices the large lorry pulling up beside them and looks up at the driver.

"He's kind of swerving" Jack mumbles to himself, only Y/n knowing what he's talking about.

"IM NOT YELLING, YOU ARE!" Anna yells, again.

They continue to argue whilst Y/n realised the lorry driver isn't paying attention to the road. Her breathing hitches and she turns to see Jack is looking at it too, his eyes wide.

"Er...Conor" Y/n says wearily to the driver.

"Will you stop complaining!" He yells at his sister again, ignoring Y/n. That's when she notices the lorry swerving towards them and she screams.

"CHANGE LANES!"

Before Conor can acknowledge what she's saying, the lorry smashes into the car with full force, sending it into another lane and being hit by multiple other vehicles. The lorry tips over in the road, the sound of screeching wheels and smashing metal all to be heard.
The world freezes and multiple lives are taken. All in that moment.

In the car, Conor's the first to open his eyes. Since the lorry hit the passenger side, the impact wasn't as severe and the airbag seemed to have saved his head from the wheel.

"J-Jack" He turns to his brother. He's unconscious and his face is covered in fresh blood. Conor tries to move but is painfully stopped by the agony in his neck.

"Oh my god" Anna wakes, sobbing over not only the pain but the sight of his brothers girlfriend beside her. "S-She's dead!" She screams, trying to unplug her seatbelt but her wrist is most certainly broken.

Hundreds of ambulances arrive at the scene, their sirens screaming and medics running to all different damaged vehicles. One makes it to their car and pulls Anna out the tipped over car.

Y/n's unconscious body is flopped onto a stretcher and emergency CPR is preformed. Jack is taken into the back of a ambulance within seconds and is rushed to the hospital.
