Sun was brighter than the usual, as he drove through the busy streets of Seoul. Now and then, he randomly glanced at his watch, sometimes looking at his surroundings. After a drive of 35 minutes, he could see the huge building waiting for him even from a distance. He sighed and lowered the speed. Entering that building so early in the morning was the thing he least wanted to do. He remembered the time he was motivated and excited, when he got to know that one of the highly reputable companies in Seoul needed him, but little did he know that he was not accepted for the job he wanted. As he neared the building, he could clearly see the name that was reflecting the the sunlight with pride; Shindong. Every brick of that building reflected the meaning of its name, "the prodigy".

He parked his black SUV and got out of the car. He sighed deeply before entering the building. "Just 8 more months," he whispered to himself. Staying at this place made him feel older than he was.

He was about to enter the building absorbed in his thoughts when.. "Park Jinyoung!" He knew the owner of the voice, and a light laugh escaped his lips. He switched to his teasing manner, so he didn't turn to the sound of the voice, but instead increased his pace. His strong hearing ability made it possible for him to listen to the whining of the girl who was trying to catch up with him, making her way through the crowd.

When he felt that the girl was completely exhausted, he turned and spoke with his signature smirk, "Were you looking for me?"

The girl shot him a glare, finally catching her breath. "You heard me the first time, didn't you?"

He just shrugged in the response. "Aw don't get mad at me, I was just helping you exercise a little."

A refreshing laugh escaped her lips, and he joined in as well. "You're really something," she finally spoke after steadying herself.

"You should've known me by now, Jisoo," he said jokingly.

"Yes~ who would know better than me," Jisoo said and reached her hand for his ear, twisting it the next moment.

"Hey! It hurts!!"

"Serves you right!"

Jisoo finally loosened the grip on his ear and said in a complaining manner, "I'm envious! We came here together, but you're the only one getting promoted! Seriously what did you do to get recognition from him?? I want to get promoted tooooo!!"

"Trust me you wouldn't want to, if you knew," Jinyoung said in a light manner, trying to cover the seriousness behind his answer.

She pouted in response, "I know you just want to be ahead of me!"

"Seriously! I'll wait for you to grow up~"

"Says who!"

He ended up laughing, and she also stopped complaining. They were now in front of the elevator, when they heard a voice from behind, "Mr. Park, Boss wants to see you." He sighed internally, and turned to the source of the voice. The sound of the word Boss made him feel as if he was working for the Boss of a gang, and Jinyoung couldn't deny that he really looked like one.

"I'll be joining you right away." He responded and turned to Jisoo, "I'll get going!"

Jisoo couldn't even say "okay" as he entered the elevator. She was frozen for a second, but remembered that she also had to go in the elevator. She was about to enter when the man accompanying Jinyoung held up his hand, as a gesture for her to stop. The person said in a monotonous way, "You may take the next one miss. Boss is waiting." She just nodded as the elevator closed.

'Stopping 5 seconds for me to get off wouldn't kill your boss,' she thought. This wasn't the first time she felt like she didn't know about the nature of work Jinyoung had, but what could she do; she wasn't allowed past this point. She even started to feel that she didn't even know him fully. He was secretive, but it didn't bother her before. She shrugged the feeling off, and waited for the next elevator.
