"Who is she?"

"She's sending us signals."

"I know you can hear us, but why can't we hear you?"

"She's getting afraid. I'm sensing fear from her."

"Don't get afraid, we're not harmful!"

"Can't you feel? She's not used to this, why are you sending her signals?"

"But, you're also sending her one!"

"But why can't we hear anything from her?"

"Why is she afraid? Her fear signals are getting stronger."

"Please don't consider us bad. We just want to know you. We're surprised you can hear us!"

She didn't know what to do. All these voices were mixing in her head. She didn't know what was happening with her. Her head was pounding heavily, and she couldn't see anything in front of her. She was desperately trying to get rid of the pain, but no matter how hard she tried to get those voices out of her head, they wouldn't. She knew that the other person beside her was trying his best to calm her down, but she couldn't bring herself to respond to him.

She felt the car stop as he brought her outside, but nothing was able to calm her down. At that moment, a memory—she didn't even know she had—played in her mind. The pain in her head got worse as she remembered everything in fragments.

-----flashback-----

Her grandmother was smiling at her, as she was running on the sand. She was listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. A moment later, she stopped still in her track, as her tiny hands covered her ears.

"She's hearing us," a voice came.

"Who are you?" She heard another voice say.

The voices rang in her head, and everything was so loud and clear. She fell on the sand, not being able to bear the excruciating pain. She saw her grandmother running towards her, along with another figure coming in her direction.

Her grandmother placed her head in her lap as she screamed her heart out.

"Forget them child," the other figure spoke, who happened to be a young woman, but Nayeon couldn't see her face.

"What are you saying, young miss? My Nayeon is in pain!"

"I'll tell you later. Right now, she needs to forget what happened."

"Don't speak! It's painful!" Nayeon cried.

"Forget them child. Try to forget them! Try to think nothing happened! I know you can! This is the only way to stop it!!" The young woman held her hand, as she spoke.

Nayeon wanted to forget them with all her strength, only to let out a loud scream before she collapsed.

-----end of flashback-----

This memory was too much for Nayeon to take, and she spoke to Jinyoung, "Tell me where are we now?" She didn't know why she asked him this, but the words came out by their own, soon followed by a shriek from her, as she felt all the strength in her body leaving her. "I can't handle it," she spoke before she lost the sense of her surroundings.

"Hang in there Nayeon... Just a bit more," was the last thing she heard in her unconscious state, before her mind went blank.
