Jaebum unlocked the door to the house, and helped Youngjae inside, followed by others. Jinyoung couldn't wait to know what was going on, but his headache managed to keep him quiet. As soon as they entered the living room, his eyes met Nayeon's but he averted them to avoid eye contact with her. He didn't expect himself to act like that, but flashes from his recent dream kept playing in his head whenever he looked at her.

"What happened?" Nayeon asked in a worried voice as she got up from the sofa, and looked at the injured Youngjae.

"I'll explain later Nayeon. Jackson bring me the first-aid box," Jaebum replied.

Jackson left Jinyoung's side—causing him to stumble a little—but before he fell on floor, Nayeon pushed him towards the sofa. "You're unpredictable," Jinyoung said after he fell face-first on the soft cushion's fabric. His position was funny enough to make Youngjae chuckle, and seeing that Jaebum breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry Jinyoung-ssi, but it could've been worse if I didn't push you," she replied seriously.

"Aren't you way too much brave for your own good?" Jinyoung asked sarcastically. "One moment you're brave, and the next you're like the most naive person on the planet."

"Hey, don't forget that she's a fast learner. You'll end up regretting calling her naive when she'll be the one roasting you soon!" Jackson said as he walked into the living room with the first-aid box.

"All of you are really lively. I wish I had friends like this too," Youngjae smiled seeing them.

"Don't wish for that," Jinyoung muttered under his breath, but it was audible enough for Jackson to hear, who elbowed him in response before replying to Youngjae.

"And I must say you're one lucky mate, cause you've got us already! I'm Jackson, and I can't say it's nice to meet you yet, so get your wounds treated before we properly introduce ourselves, hmm?" He replied in a light tone, causing Jinyoung cringe internally.

Jaebum started treating Youngjae's wounds, and Jinyoung tried to avert his focus from the headache.

"So before things get off-topic, I'll be direct," Jinyoung said getting serious. Jaebum rolled his eyes in response, but thought that it was only fair for Jinyoung to demand an explanation of the happenings around him. Everyone had their attention towards him as he continued, "How did you know where to find me? Or to be exact, how did you know what was happening?" His question was directed at Jackson, who seemed to take notice.

The whole room went silent for a while before Jackson whispered Jinyoung, "Should we be discussing it in front of everyone?"

"It happened in front of everyone, so it is only natural to explain it now, but don't you dare say anything that can be potentially harmful to me," Jinyoung replied in a whisper.

"Alright.. let me start," Jackson sighed before narrating the incident, "I didn't even have time to grasp the whole situation, but I got a message from an unknown source saying that you were in danger, and if I didn't hurry, then things could get really messed up. I tried replying but it seemed to be a one-way connection, because my reply wasn't delivered."

Jinyoung was about to interrupt but stopped himself at the last moment. He was alarmed when he heard about the message, and specifically at the mention of a 'one-way connection', as he was still in shock from the day's events. 'If it's the same person who helped me get out of the building, he must know me personal-enough to know about Jackson.'

Jackson continued without realizing the seriousness of the information he was delivering, "With the second message, I was directed to the building you were in, and was even told to wait in the staircase. Don't even get me started how quickly I had to get there! Then the messages stopped coming, and in a few seconds I saw you stumbling as you descended the staircase. At that point, I just had this feeling that I need to get you out of there! I still can't figure out what happened Jinyoung!"

It was at that moment Jinyoung spoke, "But how could you trust a random person? It could've been a trap."

Jackson sighed before replying, "I know it doesn't make sense, but I didn't have time to think as he knew what situation you were in and he knew my name too! It could've been dangerous if I ignored him!" He stopped for a second before realizing something, "Wait a minute! I know what made me reach Jinyoung, but what about you hyung? How did you know where to find us?" He was looking directly at Jaebum as he said this.

It was Jaebum's turn to speak then, "I would have been the one asking this question if you hadn't already said this.. but let me introduce Youngjae first, so that everyone can know what events lead to this. This young fellow recently showed interest in joining my label, but as soon as the contract was signed, there was a bit of situation that could've resulted in the contract termination. To discuss the matters with him, I got to his place and saw him seriously injured, as if someone broke into the house. Without thinking much, I steadied him so that I could take him to the hospital, but before I could get in the driving seat, someone suddenly stopped me and told me that Jinyoung was in serious danger. I was handed a paper on which the address of the place was written. I had many questions in my mind, but was told to hurry. I didn't even have time to take Youngjae to the hospital. Without questioning the informant further, I had to rush towards the place you were at!"

"Hyung!" Jinyoung exclaimed with an expression that wasn't readable. "Tell me about the appearance of that person! I have to check if it is the same young man who rescued me from the billboard incident!"

"Who told you that it was a young man? I'm sure it was a girl," Jaebum stated simply.

"A girl??" Jackson and Jinyoung both replied at the same time.

"I don't know what's going on anymore. Where did this girl come from?" Jinyoung sighed. "I'll have to look into this matter." With this, he got up and without a word went to his room.

"What happened to him?" Jackson asked Jaebum.

"As if you don't know," Jaebum sighed. "He won't be coming out of his room anytime soon, so let's get Youngjae to the hospital instead."

"I'm fine hyung! You've already treated me enough," Youngjae said in an apologetic manner, as if he was troubling them.

"You also know that you need treatment, and we also have to report what happened at your place, so let's not waste more time and come with me."

"Actually.. I can't come even if I wanted to, because I don't have explanation to anything that happened at my place."

"What do you mean?? Someone clearly tried to break into your house, and it's not something to take lightly!"

"Hyung, no one broke into my house.. it's as if everything happened on its own," Youngjae was clearly regretting his choice of words, as he clearly knew he was confusing the others further.

"It's alright! You must've been traumatized, so let it rest for a while, but as soon as you're ready to tell what happened, we'll report it okay?"

Not knowing what to say, Youngjae just nodded in response.

"But let's not ignore the fact that you need to be taken to the hospital! Let me help you up," Jackson said, helping him stand up and gesturing Jaebum to follow. This time Youngjae obliged without any further argument.
