Alex's POV

I was awoken by the sound of doors opening and small pops signaling apperation. I shook the sleep from my eyes and yawned stretching my limbs. My wings hung heavily from my bare back after unwrapping themselves from me. I padded over to the bathroom snapping my fingers to undress myself. While passing the mirror I saw my long hair tangled and sticking up in certain places. I groaned then pulled out a brush combing through the knots gently until it was its usual silky texture. I placed it in a messy bun before stepping into the shower, taking my sweet time to cleanse myself.

When I had finished I walked over to my closet quickly picking up my robes and dressing.
I walked out into the sitting room already seeing mum on the couch reading a book. He glanced up as I walked in and smiled before placing his book down and walking to me.

"Your father left a few minutes ago but he said that he'll see you again this weekend." I nodded my head in acknowledgment and began heading towards the door trailing after him. He paused before opening the door glancing at me before waving his wand and placing my glamour back on. I smiled in thanks before moving ahead and going out towards the great hall.

When I arrived I slowly walked over to the Gryffindor table sitting in between Neville and Luna and filling my plate with food. "Harry your head is full of nargles today!" Luna said this dreamily her eyes wandering over my head. I smiled at her and continued to eat listening to the conversations around me. The Golden duo ran into the great hall pushing past everyone just to get to me. Neville and I groaned as Hermione began to screech upon seeing me in a different seat.

"HARRY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THEM! WHY WONT YOU SIT WITH US, WE'RE YOUR FRIENDS!"

"You were never my friends now please leave so that I can eat in peace!" I glared at both of them causing them to to stumble back before pushing Neville and Luna out of the way and moving to sit next to me.

"We're your best friends and your actions haven't been good these past few days. Maybe you're just tired. Have you been sleeping enough? Oh look at Malfoy and his friends! They keep watching us I wonder what he wants, but Harry you should be more nice to us we've been friends for six years!" Hermione continued with her speech only stopping to reprimand Ronald for stuffing his face too quickly. I glanced up at mum my eyes pleading at him to come and save me. He gave me a sad smile and shook his head slightly motioning for me to continue to eat. I glanced towards Draco trying to catch his eye but he was too busy talking to Pansy and Blaise. I groaned again before placing my head on the table.

I lifted my head when I heard the screech of owls arriving with the daily mail. A large midnight black owl landed in front of me carrying a small package and a letter. Everyone at the table raised an eyebrow before watching me untie it and give the owl a few pieces of bacon. The letter was in a green envelope with silver writing on the cover. Upon glancing at the back I saw it held the Malfoy insignia and blushed.

"What is it Harry?" A chorus of voices erupted around me from my surrounding housemates. I shrugged my shoulders and opened it slowly trying not to rip the paper.

Dear Alex,

Don't worry about anyone you don't want to see this seeing this, it's enchanted to only show its true contents to people you choose. I know we have only begun our courting as of late yesterday but I couldn't wait to send you this. I think it would be best that while you're attending Hogwarts under the name Harry Potter that we stay apart and deal with less explaining. I still care about you and want to continue with the courting. I hope whenever you wear this you think of me.
Sincerely ,
Draco Malfoy

I placed the letter down and moved towards the box, opening it slowly. A small silver bracelet sat inside green wrapping and chocolate frogs. I picked it up gently trying to get a closer look at the small charm. A green dragon, I thought a smile creeping onto my face. I glanced up at mum watching him give me a small smile. I placed it in the box picking up the note with it.

I thought it fitting that you wear my sign. I hope you like it.
-D
P.S. the bracelet is charmed with my magical signature so you can have a piece of me whenever and wherever

"What is it Harry?" Ronald asked me trying to catch a glimpse of the contents of the package.

"A gift," I muttered unclamping it and passing it over to Luna. "Would you mind placing this on my wrist Luna?" She gave me a sideways glance before taking it and clasping it to my wrist.

"It's quite beautiful Harry, it matches your eyes." Luna said this dreamily before turning to Neville and starting a conversation about the plants in the greenhouse.

"Why would someone give you jewelry. You're a bloke." I glared in Ronald's direction and fingered the bracelet. "You hate that don't you?"

"I love it." I whispered this to myself but he obviously heard it and began to yell along with Hermione. I got up abruptly and grabbed my bag, shrinking my gift before storming out of the great hall listening as the voices followed me. "Go AWAY" I yelled causing the great hall to go silent. I turned my robes flowing behind me in a way that would make my mother proud and continued to storm out of the hall. I made my way to the potions classroom thankful that this was my first class and sat at the door clutching the bracelet that I had just received. I tried to focus on the magic within it letting it calm me down enough so that my submissive was at bay. Tears welled up in my eyes and I sniffled wiping at the few stray tears that had fallen. I heard footsteps coming near me and ignored them already knowing who it was and continuing to curl up into myself. The door clicked open from behind me and I glanced up watching as mum came closer to me. He took one glance at me then lifted me into his arms carrying me into the empty classroom and locking it behind us. He sat at his desk clutching me to his chest as he whispered to me.

"What's wrong sweetheart? What happened in the great hall?" He wiped away my tears and quieted waiting for me to speak.

"The freaking Fake duo. They're ruining everything for me," I sobbed curling into the warmth of his chest.

"It's okay. It's okay. They can't do anything serious. They insulted Draco didn't they?" I nodded my head trying to wipe my tears away.

"It's alright. I know you couldn't defend him but Draco can do that all by himself. He can take care of you and himself Don't let them get under your skin. Now wipe away those tears and help me set up for today's lesson okay?" I calmed my sobs and wiped at my snotty nose using the handkerchief that he provided me. He gave me one last hug before letting me stand up and help him with his class. By the expression on his face I knew he was going to tell dad everything and that as soon as possible they all would be wiped from the face of the earth. I smirked at that thought and concentrated on the bracelet, letting the magic wash over me. When we finished I gave him one last hug before sitting at my desk and waiting for everyone to arrive.

Draco slipped in next coming close to me and giving me a short hug and a kiss on the cheek before anyone could notice. I blushed when he placed a note in my hand before promptly sitting down next to me , Pansy , Blaise, Crabe, and Goyle sitting around us at their own desks.
ROR , Tonight @8? - D.

I nodded my head in his direction before burning the paper. I sat there and listened to the lesson only paying attention when Draco needed me to but I was too lost in my thoughts to care.
