19-Never Again

Draco's POV

Severus searched through Alex's memories allowing me to tag along as he continued to sleep. When we had finished we both had tears streaming down our faces. When we had finished we saw that Alex was still asleep. Severus walked over to him and stroked his forehead, " my poor baby", he mumbled while moving long strands of hair out of his face. Alex choose that time to wake up and blinked wearily up at the two of us.

"Mum, Draco," he said before yawning. And sitting up to stretch. We gave him a moment as the smile on his face dropped when he recalled what happened earlier. He looked over to me in horror as tears began to fall down his face. I scooped him up into my arms and cradled him whispering words of comfort. Severus watched us from the side of the bed while he sent out a patronus through his wand.

"Im sorry I didn't tell you, I was so embarrassed and I didn't think you'd still want me a-as y-our mate" Alex all but cried out, his words being broken up by his sobbing and frantic inhales of breath. I silenced him and continued rocking him back and forth as I tried to quiet his sobs. It took over ten minutes to reduce him into sniffles and once I did he began to tear up again upon seeing my snot soiled shirt.

"No no no, don't cry baby. See it's easy to fix, look," I looked pointedly at Severus who raised his eyebrow in question then rolled his eyes with a small smile as realization dawned on him. He waved his wand casting a cleansing charm onto me as Alex pulled back to see his handiwork. Both Severus and I glanced up as a small Slytherin boy walked through the door like he owned the place. "Get out,"I growled at the stranger clutching Alex closer to me as he hid his face in my chest. He continued to walk towards us while Severus just watched with a slightly amused expression.

"Shouldn't you be in your dorm Thomas?" Severus smirked at the boy while the boy frowned and took off his Slytherin robes.

"Im sorry but I received a message to come as soon as possible. If you want I can come to your office later Professor," the boy raised his eyebrows suggestively and winked at Severus who's eyebrows were raised in amusement. I pulled a face of disgust while the boy stuck his tongue out a me receiving the same motion from me but with more sass, I'm a Malfoy after all.

"That's disgusting, please stop," Alex whines from where he was buried in his chest. "Stop messing with Draco dad" I watched in horror and slight amusement as Thomas transformed into the adult version of Tom Riddle. He then walked closer laughing and placed a swift kiss on Severus' lips before sitting on the bed next to us. He raised an eyebrow at his son who launched into a short explanation as he dried his tears. "Those are Draco's robes. They smell like him." He then moved from my arms into his father's open ones and settled into his chest in a fetal position.

"You sure you're okay with this?" Alex nodded his head at his father's words then closed his eyes as Tom placed two fingers on his forehead next to his signature lightning bolt scar. He closed his eyes as well as magic washed over him then blinked down sadly at Alex. "Why didn't you tell me?" Alex shrugged his shoulders sadly before crawling away from his father and back into my lap. He began to tear up again as his parents walked away to talk leaving me to comfort him and calm him. I smiled sadly down at him and began to rock him side to side pulling him closer in my arms. I began to hum softly a tune that I knew he would recognize. (Iris- sleeping with sirens cover) He quieted and listened to me for a few minutes as I hummed the song. When I finished he had stopped crying and was now staring at me his eyes their beautiful dark brown with hints of red. Tom and Severus walked back over when I had finished smiling slightly at the look Alex gave me.

"We've decided to have Alex go to a mind healer and talk to someone. If that's okay with you al?" He nodded his head at Toms words and nuzzled his head into my chest. Tom said a few more things about what we needed to do and plans that he was going to make to get revenge on the man who had done this. I listened intently until Alex wrapped his arms around my neck and yawned nuzzling his head into my neck and inhaling deeply.

"We'll let you guys sleep and talk in the morning come on honey, make sure he's back by tomorrow morning early." Severus then pulled Tom away from the two of us after placing a kiss on Alex's forehead and left us alone. Alex looked up at me and placed a kiss on my cheek before whispering in my ear,

"Sing to me Dray?" He looked up at me with pleading eyes and I gave into him immediately at the sight.

"Sure al," I responded clutching him to me as I moved back on the bed and pulled us under the covers.

He turned his head and gave me s small smile as I wiped away his tears.

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming, or the moment of truth in your lies...

Short chapter because I want to explain everything within the chapter about the death eater meeting. Also tysm for all the nice comments they really brighten my day. Lastly because it's so short I'll publish two chapters instead of just this one.
