13- Room of Requirement

During the same time Severus is at the meeting.

Alex's POV

I made my way to the Room of Requirement covered with my invisibility cloak over my head. I smiled to myself when I saw Draco up ahead pacing in front of the door holding crimson roses. He paced a few more times before opening the red door and slipping inside, but not before placing a rose down in front of the door. When I heard it close I quickly shuffled over to it. I smiled and picked up the rose before opening the door. My eyes widened as I saw a stone pathway covered in roses leading to a dark tent. I took slow steps to my destination picking up the roses as I went and making a small bouquet in my arms. The flap in the tent fluttered behind me and I gasped at the sight before me.

"Draco!" He smiled up at me from his spot at the table holding a single rose up to me. The tent was well lit with fairy lights all floating above us as he snapped his fingers allowing for the table to be covered in food. "This is beautiful!"

"I'm glad you like it sweetheart." He smiled softly at me and kissed me on the cheek. "I know you've been having a hard day so I wanted to make your night a little bit better. I've got all your favorite foods and Treacle Tart for dessert." I smiled at him gratefully and sat down across from me. We both loaded ourselves with food and talked for the rest of our meal about what has been happening

time skip to the end of dinner...

"Thank you for this Draco. You really didn't have to."

"I'd do anything for you. We're mates after all. Come on, I'm sure your parents are looking for you." I nod to him and follow behind him as he walks towards my parents rooms while I'm cloaked with my cloak.

We opened the door and both stood there shocked upon seeing my father laying on the couch sulking. His bedroom door was closed but I could easily assume that my mother was inside. Draco snickered and I looked at him raising an eyebrow. "Your father pissed off your mother again."

"No one asked you Malfoy." My father glared at Draco causing him to snicker louder.

"Alex did Uncle Tom." He grunted in response and turned to me.

"How was the date Al?" I smiled to myself and glanced at Draco. "That good huh? I really don't want grandchildren right now so I hope you used protection Malfoy or I'll chop it off."

"DAD!" I blushed furiously while Draco sat down to control his uncontrollable laughter. I slapped his arm and sat next to him glaring halfheartedly at my father. "What happened?" Draco pulled me into his side and wrapped an arm around me after he stopped laughing, still smirking at the blush that covered my face.

My words caused him to blush and he looked towards the ground before responding. "I did something I wasn't supposed to," he mumbled throwing a glare at Draco who looked like he wanted to laugh once more. I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off. "Shut up, it doesn't matter what I did he won't let me in our bedroom. Will you talk to him?" He looked up at me hopefully and I smiled at him reassuringly and nodded. I got up and walked over to the door knocking lightly.

"Open up mum." The door clicked and I turned the knob quickly walking over to the man sitting on his bed. "He's sulking on the couch mum." He chuckled lightly and brought me into a hug.

"He brought that onto himself, idiot." He looked towards the door and smiled before turning back to me. "So... how was the date?" I blushed again while he snickered at my reaction. "That good?" He raised his eyebrows suggestively.

"Ew gross mum. It wasn't like that we just talked." He smirked at me before bringing his hand through my hair.

"You should take off your glamour." I nodded and snapped my fingers causing my looks to revert back. "Much better. Anyway you can tell your dad to come in and say goodnight to Draco. I don't know about you but I'm ready to sleep." I laughed lightly before untangling myself from his arms.

"Goodnight mum." I placed a kiss on his forehead causing him to smile.

"Goodnight Al."

I made my way back into the sitting room and nodded at my fathers unspoken question. He smiled brightly before taking quick steps towards his bedroom. "Night kids!"

"Night," Draco and I both responded watching amused as he stepped into the room and closed the door quickly behind him.

"Well my mate, it seems as if our night has come to an end. I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yes of course." I placed a light kiss on his cheek making him blush and then turned to walk back into my room. "Goodnight Draco."

"Goodnight Alex. Sweet dreams," he replied softly walking backwards towards the open portrait.
