Allen Von Kelis discovered magic when he was 6 months & 3 weeks old. He started to read more and more books to learn more about Tellestia.

After 2 months of reading books in secret (he would always make Stella take him and Ray to the library though Melinda and Reind realized about this after a few days) he decided to learn how to use magic.

He started with reading more books whenever he got a chance he would go to the library and read about different kinds of magic. Sometimes he would get so absorbed in reading the books he would start to read the book aloud. He was one day, as usual, reading a book in the library when started to read the book aloud and Melinda and Stella walked and saw him reading the book.

The two women were awestruck from what they just saw, a child of 8 months was reading a book aloud and he learned that himself. On the other hand, when Allen realized their presence behind him it was too late. Allen was scared to death as he knew there was no excuse for what they just saw. Allen was scared that both of them will think of him as a freak or would be scared of him. As he thought for some way to get out of this situation his face got paler as he got more tensed. As he got ready to face the consequences and looked down, he felt a soft hand patting his head. When he looked upwards rather than seeing people horrified by him, he saw his mother and Stella smiling and praising him for being able to read.

Allen looked up to both of them with a really scared look in his face and asked “aren't you afraid of me?”

Melinda answered with a smile “why would I be scared of you honey, I don't see any reason to be afraid of you”

“But, don't you find it strange that I can read without you or anyone teaching me, you don't think I'm strange?”

“Huh? You being able to read at such a young age doesn't make you strange honey, it just makes that much more special” said Melinda as she hugged Allen to calm him down.

“Allen-sama you being able to read without anyone teaching you makes you a genius, we can't be proud enough of you and Ray-sama. Both of you are really fast at learning things despite your age added” Stella with a smile. “I can't wait to tell Reind-sama about this he will be so happy to know that young master can read and he learned that without anybody helping him” she said while clapping her hands together in excitement.

Hearing all this Allen was shocked as he did not anticipate for such reactions. He loved them and therefore was really scared of the thought of them being scared of him. So, when he heard them say those things he felt a sense of relief and tears started to roll down his cheeks. Soon he burst into tears and it was Ray who wiped his tears and patted his head but he did not say a word. It was followed by a hug from Melinda who helped Allen to calm down.

After these revelations about Allen being able to read books, he got the permission to read the books in the library whenever he wanted to. But he would often need to take Stella's help to take out the books in the upper shelf. Allen, after sometime, started to learn magic little by little.

He started with concentrating and measuring his mana. He would daily meditate and try small level spells in the library to get books from the upper shelf. Slowly and steadily his powers were getting stronger and nobody knew it better than Allen himself but it was hard for him to train himself a particular type of magic nature when he didn't knew what his element was. Thus, he decided to ask his father to tell him more about magic.

As Reind came back home he was greeted by all the workers of the household and by Melinda and the twins. He would pour all energy into completing his work as fast as possible so he would be free to go home and spend his time with Ray and Allen.

As soon as he reached home he would go to the twins and picked both of them up and spend hours playing with them. He would always dote on them, and everyone in the castle knew that and did not mind it now.

He noticed that Allen was fidgety more than usual. So he asked him what was the matter and Allen replied with a question “father can you tell me more about magic?” Reind was overcome with happiness on hearing this and told him all he knew about magic and different elements or attributes of magic. “Father how do we find out a person's element?” asked Allen.

“Oh, for that you would have to use the assortment and measuring crystal ball” answered Reind.

“Huh? Crystal ball?” asked Allen.

“It's a special Magic item which helps to measure a person's mana level and his or her element when touched by them” Answered Reind.

“Where can I find that father?” asked Allen.

“Well you can find it the royal castle, royal academy and the church. But we have one have too at our home in the library's second floor” As he said that Reind saw a glint of excitement in Allen and Ray's eyes.

"Oh, if you are so interested in it, how about I show it to the both of you huh??" Said Reind with a huge smile across his face.

“You would daddy?” Asked Allen with excitement.

“Yes” replies Reind while hugging both the twins.

The next day Reind took both Ray and Allen with him to the second floor of the library. There on the table was a really beautiful big crystal ball kept on the table and as the sunlight fell on it from above it gleamed with more beauty.

Reind pointed towards the ball and started to explain how it worked. It showed different elements by different colours. Red for fire, blue for water, green for land, yellow for air, white for light, black for dark and purple for strengthening. The light is brighter if your mana is strong and dull if your mana is weak.

After he gave us a lecture on the crystal ball he showed us how it worked but putting his hands on the crystal ball after a few moments it started to brightly glow in red, green, and purple colours.
