Three men sat around a fire, all of them silently drinking the fire whisky that was brought. "Shes growing stronger but has come to the realisation as to why." One of the men broke the silence and the other two turned to look at him.
"So her power grows without her even accepting her heritage." One man mussed "She will truly be powerful." The other men nodded "She's always been smart and powerful but now its increased. She the Patronus Charm first time and claims to never have casted it before today."
"The girl casted a charm so what? That doesn't mean shes all great and powerful." The third man scoffed as he finished his drink "Who we need to look out for is Valkyrie Dumbledore." He continued. "Why she's not a threat?" The second man asked. "Think who is she engaged to?? Valkyrie may not be a threat but Killian Grindelwald? He just as if not even more powerful than his father and he loves Valkyrie but he is inclined to the dark arts."
"Look none of that matters if Cynthia returns to Tom's side that's it he's won end of. Now we may know he's not some raving insane lunatic the world does not. Dumbledore twisted Tom's image because otherwise every pureblood family would back him without a doubt. Dumbledore will destroy the world to get what he wants." The first man told them "As of right now our covers must not be blown at all, if either side were to discover we have had these meetings it would mean our heads! We need to choose a side and choose fast!"
"Do you think if Hermione was to find out that she is Cynthia that she would side with Tom?" The second man inquired looking at the first man "Without a doubt she's in love with Draco Malfoy, has reconnected with her Slytherin friends and when she learns the truth she will have her memories back. She will side with Tom because he's her father." The man confirmed and the other man looked worried at each other "Very well then when the time comes to pick a side we go with Tom."

Hermione gasped awake. Sweat clung to her skin as she tried to get as much air as she could into her lungs. Those men again but this time she remembered almost everything they said. They talked about Cynthia again answer even mentioned her as well as Valkyrie Dumbledore.
Hermione didn't understand these dreams nor why she had them. They seemed so real as if she was in the room watching these men talk. That's something else that bugged her, their voices sounded so familiar but she couldn't put her finger on who they were. She never saw their faces either the shadows kept them hidden.
You aren't ready to see their faces, when you are that's when they will become clear to you
The voice spoke and Hermione barely held back a growl of annoyance. Why couldn't the voice ever give her a straight answer! What was with all the riddles and hidden comments.
You aren't ready for the answers and they aren't mine to tell. Ask Draco he can give you a few but not all of them that's reserved for your parents
My parents? My muggle parents who knew nothing of magic? Ah yes because they could tell her why she could hear a voice in her head and why her dreams centered around Cynthia Riddle!?
Silly girl
The voice sounded amused as if Hermione had though of a joke instead of her parents.
Soon Hermione you will understand why. Now if your parents truly know nothing about magic why didn't they freak out when meeting Dumbledore? Or when you were told you were a witch? How about the fact they weren't amazed or in awe of Diagon Alley but instead walked around like they knew the place? Or why didn't they freak out when an owl delivering a letter flew into the living room? Come on Hermione aren't you the brightest witch of your age?
Hermione realised the voice was right. Something was off with her parents and Hermione needed to find out what it was. Maybe she wasn't a muggle born... maybe she was a half blood and her parents knew about magic because one of them had magic! Yes of course that would explain everything!
And I thought you were smart...
Hermione scowled. That stupid voice was dumb not her! It all made sense and Hermione couldn't wait to tell Draco! Hermione quickly dressed and ran out the common room, down to the great Hall where Draco sat with Blaise. "Draco I need to tell you something! I don't think I'm a muggle born!"
Draco raised an eyebrow as Hermione rushed out her words. "You see when Dumbledore came to my house my parents greeted him like they knew him! They weren't surprised I was a witch and they walked around Diagon Alley like they had been there before. They didn't even freak out the first time an owl flew into our living room with a letter. Therefore I think one of my parents is a wizard therefore making me a half blood!" Hermione smiled as Draco and Blaise shared a look.
"Hermione come walk with me I need to tell you something." Draco held out his arm and Hermione looped hers around it. They walked out the hall and outside, heading towards the black lake. They simply walked as other students passed them with a smile or nod in greeting. The sun was shinning and reflected of the surface of the lake as the giant squid seemed to sit in shallow waters. They soon reached the bank where Draco sighed.
"Do you remember when I told you about Cynthia and how no one knew where or who she is?" Hermione frowned but nodded "Yes I remember. " Draco turned to face her "I lied I know who she is I've known since before returning to school this year. And do you know what the worst thing is? I bullied her all because of someone who reminded me of her and I didn't know till this year that's because it was her." Hermione frowned confusion crossing her features.
"Draco I... I don't understand why are you telling me this?" Draco let out a harsh laugh "It was my auntie Bella that found out. She had a duel with her and nearly killed her until her eyes flashed red and her true dark aura emerged. She came home and told us who Cynthia was and the shock was huge. And now this year I've managed to approach her and began to reform our bond and it's been amazing apart from the fact it's not really Cynthia because she doesn't look or know it's her." Draco was crying at this point "Hermione it's you. You are Cynthia Riddle."
Hermione stepped back shaking her head "Draco I... Draco I can't be her it's impossible... I was born and raised by muggles! Not by wizards!" Hermione exclaimed as she back off. "You are lying! YOU ARE A LIAR DRACO MALFOY!" Hermione was almost hysterical she felt betrayed and filled with rage. "Cynthia please." Draco begged as he stepped towards her "DONT CALL ME THAT! MY NAME IS HERMIONE GRANGER NOT CYNTHIA RIDDLE! YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME MALFOY OR I SWEAR TO MERLIN YOU WILL REGRET IT! WAS I SOME GAME? A SICK JOKE HUH LET'S FOOL HERMIONE GRANGER!? WELL NO MALFOY YOU STAY AWAY!" Hermione screamed as tears streamed down her face. Draco stepped towards her but Hermione bolted leaving Draco standing by the lake with a broken heart. He had lost Cynthia again.
