Part 46

Today is One Direction’s last day in London.  I would be sleeping, it’s 5am, but someone called my house and now I can’t fall back asleep.  I didn’t even know I had a house phone.  I don’t even know the number.  Who would have the number?  And who would call so early?  Are there telemarketers in England?

I’ve decided to take a shower and go for a walk.  I just have to walk downstairs to get a bottle of water.  Oh crap, I forgot to put a bottle in yesterday.  I could go without it.  “Holy Shit!” I closed the refrigerator door and standing behind it was Harry.  I was not expecting him to be there.  I am practically crying I’m so startled.  “You scared me, Harry!  What are you doing here?”

He hugs me and rubs my back.  “I didn’t mean to scare you.  I snuck out of the hotel.  You and I are going to spend time together.”

“I was going to go for a walk.  What did you have in mind?”

“I’ve got something up my sleeve.  Let’s go.” He extends his arm and I grab his hand and we walk out to my car.  He gets in the driver’s seat and I get in the passenger’s seat.

We drive for a little bit.  It’s a route I’ve never been before.  We pull up to a little park.  I follow Harry’s lead and get out after he gets out.  The sun has not come up yet so I can’t see where we are going but he grabs my hand and walks me through these woods.  We get to the end of the wooded area where there is a lake.  There are tree stumps lined up in front of the water to sit on.  “This is beautiful, Harry,” I say as we share a stump.

“The lads and I found this place.  I’ve never taken a girl here.  I was waiting for somebody special to share it with.” He puts his arm around my shoulders.

“I am so lucky,” I say as I rest my head on his shoulder.  The sun begins to rise as we sit on our stump, fingers entwined with each other.  “This is just what I needed.  Thank you so much.”

“You are so wonderful to love me the way you do.  I am the lucky one.  Isn’t the sunrise amazing?”

“It really is.  I hope you know how much I miss you when we are away from each other.”

“I don’t blame you,” I joke.  I couldn’t help myself.  He smiles wide and there are those dimples that make me melt.  I love to make him smile and those dimples are a bonus.

We watch the sun rise up into the sky to start the day.  Harry’s phone has been ringing like crazy.  They’re probably wondering where he is.  He tries hard to ignore it but I don’t want him to get into too much trouble.  I grab the phone out of his pocket and hand it to him.  I can’t take it anymore.  He answers it and it sounds like he’s asking one of the guys to cover him until he gets back.  It looks like our time together is going to be coming to an end.  He gangs up and puts it back into his pocket.  “I have to get back.”

“Yeah I saw that coming.  This was perfect, Harry, it really was.”

“After the tour we will have more times like this.  I promise.”

We walk back through the woods and to my car.  We get into the car and drive to the hotel.  In another hour they’ll have to head to the arena so I decide to go with him.  We rush in and run up to the floor the room are on. We go into Harry’s room and close the door.

“Where have you been?!” Louis yells, startling us.

“Why does everyone have to scare me today?” I complain.

“Sorry, love, it had to be done.  I’ve been trying to solve the case of the missing Harry all morning.” Harry smiles. “This is not a joking matter, Mr. Styles.”

“I’m sorry,” Harry mumbles.

“As you should be!” Louis says as he puts his finger in Harry’s face.  Harry pushes it away.  Louis pretends to cry.  “I was so worried!”

“Buck up, buttercup,” I say as I rub his back.

For the rest of our free time before leaving we have some breakfast.  When it’s time to go Paul comes by the room to pick us up.  He gives Harry an angry look.  He is not happy.  Harry and Lou look at each other and laugh.  We make our way to the bus and you can hear the screams through out the hotel.
