Kidnapped With One Direction. (A 1D fan fic.) [On Hold]

Didn't Expect That...

     "Alright... Well, I'm Liam," said one of them, and then he listed off the names of the others. I took a good look at all of them.

     "Why do all of you have bruises?" I ask. I suddenly felt guilty some how.

     "Well," Zayn started, "when your dad came back to your house after we got out of that basement he started beating you. We all woke up and saw... um... He put up quite a fight when we went to pull him off you."

     "Are you all alright?"

     Louis started laughing bitterly. I didn't like that laugh. "You're asking us if we're alright? Are you alright? You're in worst condition than we are, but you don't seem to care!" He exclaimed.

     I shook my head and blink a few times. "I'm fine, and you didn't answer the question," I pointed out. "Where's Jaden?" I added after not seeing him around.

     "He's at our hotel, sleeping. Paul's watching over him, and he's fine. Don't worry about him, alright?" Liam said.

     "A-alright," I said. The nurse then came back in with a small cup if water and two pain killers. I took the pills when she handed them over.

     "Are you feeling any other pain?" She asked. My body did ache, but it was nothing to be too concerned with, so I just shook my head, and she went to leave. At the door though, she stopped and turned around. "Mr. Styles, can I speak with you privately for a moment?"

     Harry looked at her for a moment before standing up. "Yeah, sure," He told her while following her out.

     I then turned to the others when I remembered something strange Zayn told me earlier. "What did you mean when you said we got out of that basement? I don't remember any basement," I said.

     "What is the last thing you remember then?" Liam asked.

     "I remember getting ready for that concert of some band Chloe and the others like. When was that?"

     "That was four days ago, Lana. The day of the concert your friends had kidnapped us and held us in one of their basements. The next day, you tried to let us out, but they locked you in with us too. We spent a night there before you came up with a plan, and then you got us all out. We ended up at your place to get some rest, but that's when your dad came, and you ended up here...in the hospital," Niall explained flatly.

     Harry then came back in, and he looked paler than when he left. "Are you alright, Haz? You look sick," Louis asked him.

     "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'll tell you guys later," Harry said. He sat down again, but I kept my eyes on him. He seemed to be avoiding looking at me. I wonder why...

     "Why would they kidnap you guys? No offense or anything, but they're not that crazy," I tried defending my only friends.

     "We're that band that you guys went to see, One Direction," Harry stated. For some reason, I believed everything they were saying. My friends are awfully obsessed with that band, I mean, them... This is just so confusing...

     "I-I just..." I don't know anymore. I trailed off, putting my hand to my head in confusion. "What happened to my dad?"

     "He's in jail. We're making sure that he's getting charged with prolonged child abuse," Louis said.

     "Then, what's going to happen to Jaden and me?" I questioned. I didn't want to be placed in the Foster Care system. All I've ever heard is that you could be placed with terrible people, and I don't want that for Jaden.

     "You'll be placed with a family member that's willing to take you since you're still a minor," Liam said factually

     "But we don't have any family that I know of. Dad's an only child, and his parents are dead, and my mom never talked about her family while she was still alive, so I just assumed she didn't have any either," I explained.

     "That's not true. You're my cousin." I'll admit it: I did not expect that.

I'm back... Maybe, sort of. I'm so sorry I haven't updated in sooo long! But when I get writer's block, I get it BAD. This isn't what I originally thought I was going to do, but here it is. I hope you guys like it!
