CHAPTER 9: Bawal Mahulog, Nakakamatay!

I woke up feeling...great? (What kind of sorcery is this? Cause for the first time in forever nagising ako ng maayos!)

I happily skipped downstairs to the bathroom, completely forgetting about my foot and the fact that wala pang mainit na tubig yung ipapangpaligo ko

(Kung magshower na lang kaya ako?) I opened the shower...BIG MISTAKE (Ang lamig nung tubig!) Pero even that can't ruin my mood today...

After my cold shower, Nag-ready na ko for school

Beep*beep*

I gladly got on to the service and waited for Xavier... (Close na kami eh)

"Dary, okay ka na? Naka-smile ka kasi eh"

"Yeah, My foot is grand" I said (A.N. A little Augustus touch there)

"Buti naman, akala ko pagbubuhatin mo nanaman ako eh" (Light bulb! Idea ding ding ding)

"Umm actually masakit pa" I said pouting and leaned on his lap

"Uy, umayos ka nga" he chuckled, then napansin ko napatingin siya sa girl sa harapan

"Look's like somebody's got a little crush on someone"

"What are you talking about?"

"Ateng nakaupo sa harapan anong pangalan mo?"

"Violet po"

"Ate Violet, crush ka nito oh" he covered my mouth with his hand (Hahaha parang friends lang na nagaasaran...)

When we arrived, we walked together to the classroom then naghiwalay kami sa different peers namin

"Dary, I see you are doing very well with Xander"

"Shut up, Ariana" we laughed and chatted

"Good Morning Class"

"Good Morning, Dear Adviser"

"Please sit, have you decided on your clubs already?" Her voice seems to be disappearing, it was being replaced with...

"Dary, Okay ka na? Naka-smile ka kasi eh"

"Uy pababa na ko ah. Are you sure okay ka lang kasi pwede kong sabihin kay Kuya Manong na ikaw ang unahing ibaba"

"Let me help you"

(His sweet words are just so....sweet)

"Dary!"

"Huh?"

"Tulala ka nanaman, anong club mo?"

"Swimming po"

"2nd choice?"

"Kailangan po ba ng 2nd choice?"

"Yes, weren't you listening to what I said awhile ago"

"Glee club?" (Why did I just say that?)

"Marunong ka pa lang kumanta eh"

"Ay wala po akong alam na club choice eh" she scoffed then shook her head moving-on to my seat mate (Phew! Mapapasample ako nang hindi oras dun ah)

I turned to look at Xander only to catch his gaze (Bakit, siya nakatingin sakin? Is there something on my face? What is this feeling? Parang may butterflies sa stomach ko! Help, I'm clueless)

I started sweating for no exact reason. I pulled my eyes off of him then stared at my desk (Yung puso ko parang ang bilis. dug-dug, dug-dug, dug-dug. Is this it? Am I really falling already?)

"Ma'am may I please go out?"

"Yes, Ms. Reyes, you may"

I got out completely confused (Eto na ba talaga yun? No, joke? Gosh, Dary ang dali mo namang mahulog!)

I cursed my self for being so helpless (Naging close lang kayo nang tao, you fell already) I know, ang easy ko naman (There is only one way to stop it...)

I got to the restroom then washed my face in the sink, looking at myself in the mirror

"Stay away from that boy"
