CHAPTER 5: Magtawag Ka Ng Maganda

I wasn't paying attention since I was thinking about the dream I just had and then...

"Dary!" the teacher shouted (Nice third day you already had the teacher shouting)

"Yes, maam?"

"Same question" (Ha? Eh ano ba yung question?)

"Uh, Thomas Edison invented the light bulb?" (Are we even in Science?) Everybody giggled

"Yes, I'm sure he did pero hindi tayo Science ngayon, hija. The question was what is a Geometric Shape"

"Oh then-" I was about to answer when sombody beat me to it...

"A Geometric Shape is the geometric information which remains when location , scale,orientation and reflection are removed from the description of a geometric object . That is, the result of moving a shape around, enlarging it, rotating it, or reflecting it in a mirror is the same shape as the original, and not a distinct shape" (Ikaw na matalino ako na yung hindi matalino) I looked to see who it was

"That is correct, Xander. Dary you should thank Xander for helping you"

"Yeah sure thanks" I sat back down, smiling to myself (Thank goodness, I'm a 'morena' and don't blush, pero since I can't blush....BLUSH BLUSH BLUSH, eeepppp he answered a question for me!)

Later that day we were having P.E.

"Pre-Test! Get one and pass"

After 15 minutes we are checking our papers and teacher has a peculiar way of letting us check...

"Number 9, Basketball was invented during the 1891, true or false" Xander said infront (I know right, it had to be in the center, pwede naman tumayo ka na lang eh noh? Oh, well,  I have a marvelous view so okay lang and finally I have a reason why I need to look at him. Ano bayan kinikilig nanaman ako)

"So what's the answer?"

"True"

"Tama! Ngayon mag tawag ka ng...Maganda" (Hay sigurado tatawagin niyan si Kelly Layaw, yung maputi, matangkad at makinis na babae saamin, nakakaasar naman kasi si sir eh sana hindi na lang yung ganto!)

"Dary, Dary, tawag ka" sabi nung katabi ko

"Ha? Ako? Nino?"

"Ni Xander, ikaw tinawag niya" (WHAT!)

I raised my eyebrows in disbelief, pinagtitripan lang yata ako nito eh

"Dary, bilisan mo na sayang yung time" sabi ni sir. I looked at Xander and pointed to myself

"Seriously?" he nodded at umupo na siya (Bat ganun? Parang imbis kiligin ako kinabahan ako kasi baka parang nagjo-joke lang siya)

I stood up and got to the front

"Number 10-14, Name four different types of shoots....Lay-up, Alley-hoop, dunk, and Jump shoot"

"Very good, uhh magtawag ka naman ng... Gwapo" (Natawag na eh! Hmm... Sino kaya?) I smiled smugly then they all started chanting "Pali, Pali, Pali" so I called that guy (even if I knew he wasn't as nearly as good looking as Xander), hey I was just giving them what they wanted right?

The rest of the day was a blurr, I still couldn't get it out of my head! Tinawag niya kaya ako kasi nagagandahan siya sakin or because I was just the new weird girl that they want to pick on, grrr this is so frustrating!

Ding*dong*ding*ding*dong*dong*ding*ding*

I packed up and picked up my bag, ready to get out off here...

"San ka pupunta?" tanong nung katabi ko

"Uuwi na bakit?"

"Lunch pa lang kaya" My eyes widened and looked at my watch (11:30 PA LANG!) I put my bag down in shame (Now THAT was down right HUMILIATING!) Tinawanan nila ako lahat including Xander and our teacher!

(Wag kang iiyak, subukan mo lang, baka gusto mo pang mapahiya pa sa kanila...makitawa ka na lang) "Ay oo nga noh? Hahahaha"...

Ding*dong*ding*ding*dong*dong*ding*ding*

NOW its time to go, I double checked my watch and did the usual, I got on the service car as soon as it arrives

(What a day, I got my most embarassing moment and also my most confusing one! Stupid Xander calling me maganda infront of the class? He doesn't even know my freaking name! Maganda my butt, I say BULLSH...ARK!) Someone tapped on my shoulder...

"What do you want!" I snapped, I turned around, it was Xander (Ugh) that was the second time na kinalabit niya today "Sorry, what was that?" I said more calmly

"Usog ka po" He excused and sat...

(Ask him! Ask him about why he called you earlier)

Yoko nga hindi naman kami close eh

(Sige ka, hindi ka matatahimk diyan)

"Bakit mo ko tinawag kanina?"

"Huh?"

"Awhile ago in PE, tinawag mo ko"

"Ahh yun, kase tinuro ka ni Eric. Wala lang yun"

"Oh, okay" (Finally that was out of my head, yes a new entry!)

Dear Crush,

Today was very intresting because I had this dream about you waking me up tapos nadapa ako and you helped me saying "Are you okay?" I knew it was too good to be true hahaha, pero ikaw pa rin gumising sakin when I woke up for real, turns out you didn't know my name, you called me 'Ella' instead of Dary but still it was a #KiligMoment. In PE, the teacher said that you would call somebody that is what you think was "Maganda" then you called me, I almost flipped but suspiscious. I thought trip mo lang tawagin ako kasi mahirap yung tanong XD Anyway I was really bothered by it, infact so bothered na akala ko uwian na, yun pala lunch palang! Nakasukbit na nga yung bag ko sa shoulders ko eh! Lahat naman kayo tumawa, I guess kaya pala kitang patawanin, galing ko talaga B-). After classes nung nasa service na tayo I asked you about yung tungkol dun sa PE. So tinuturo lang pala ako nung friend mo wow ha. Sabi ko na nga ba eh, hindi naman kasi ako maganda eh, marami akong pimples, morenang morena, hindi naman rin ako matalino, I have nothing to show for it compaired to Kelly. Mas maniniwala pa ko kung siya yung tinawag mo eh. Makinis, Maputi, Matangkad, Maganda, Matalino, lahat na lang ng mga positive 'Ma-' nasa kanya na at higit sa lahat hindi pa siya natatawag. Pero hindi ko naman inaasahan na magugustuhan mo ko eh, okay na sakin yung admiring from afar :))

P.S. Sorry nung nasigawan kita, peace po tayo hehehe
