The Price of Friendship

I am nothing but chaos

From the inside out

Though no one could see

It's masked and hidden

Locked away

Hidden behind the mess you call a life

You can't help

I'd never let you

So stop clawing at my throat

Stop telling me to open up

I'm never letting you in

Why?

Because you'll make it worse

You'll get lost in the chaos

You'll try to burn everything

and call that "fixing it"

You can't understand

Even if you could

I won't let you

I won't let you understand

It will only break you

It will destroy you

I don't care if it hurts you

To watch me self destruct

It's worse if I let you in

It's safer

If you just watch

~~~
A/N: Know that when people try to help you, most times they just want what's best. They mean well. please don't just dismiss those that try to help you like I do. I'm writing from a lonely place, one that's miserable. Humans are social creatures, and need interaction with others. I understand if someone is already in a place where isolation feels better, but if you can help it, please, locking yourself away and isolating yourself is not good.
